Outer Bean Cafe Duck

As the only decaf drinker in the house, I went here every morning for my iced decaf latte with whole milk, hold the sweetener. My order was correct every day and served with a smile. I’ll be back next year!

For the bacon egg sandwich they used hard boiled eggs not fried eggs. (Supposed to be fried) No ketchup I said fine and then they arbitrarily put mustard on everything. Didn’t ask and nobody here wanted or likes mustard. The vegetarian sandwich had mustard instead of hummus. $60 later and we have food that sucks and couldn’t eat. Unfortunately we were already on the road on our way off the island and couldn’t go back to return. Do not recommend.

Ordered three drinks and had to wait 20 minutes. The iced coffee was very watery and didn’t add much milk. It would have been quicker to make coffee at home.

Delicious smoothies and knowledgeable staff! We had a great experience beginning with sharing our daughters' food allergies with the owner. She accommodated and kept them safe. The smoothies were also delicious. I highly recommend going for a healthy treat and excellent service!

If I could give it no stars, I would.

Cute shop right outside of the place we are staying so we rode up there. My father ordered a Vanilla Latte and I ordered a Turkey sandwich with no onion…. Pretty simple order, right? …….wrong! After waiting for over 10 minutes, they gave me a iced vanilla latte and a sandwich with egg and a piece of turkey.

I didn’t even see a sandwich on the menu that had egg and a slice of turkey. Even on the website a “turkey sandwich” has a stack of things on top of it…..

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED we wasted $15 here. We threw everything out. Had we not had to be somewhere I wouldn’t asked for a refund or redo but time wasn’t on my side.

Stopped in for the first time today. Had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and a latte. Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Period. Plus, it's actually cheaper than McD's.

I appreciate the fact that the staff wears masks and takes the virus situation seriously. They were very busy, but friendly.

Last, this isn't a 'fast food' joint. It took longer to get my stuff than McD's, but it was worth the wait and, hey, I'm on vacation.

Plan on being a regular from now on. Thanks!

Great customer service. Online ordering platform was flawless. I also received an email informing me my food was ready. When we arrived, we picked up our order at a window. The bagels were delicious ! Thank you for being one of the few restaurants in this area that has implemented an easy and safe process during Covid. :)

The worker looked dead on the inside, the coffee was mid and we waited for ever for a bagel. I suggest you go down the road to Duck’s Cottage. I like it there much better.

Excellent healthy lunch. Always fresh with great portions. Really helps to order ahead because the owner is working really hard to make the orders so if you order ahead she does not have to stop to take orders at the window.

We stayed in the outer banks for a week and tried several coffee shops. This was our favorite! The açaí bowl was delicious as well as the iced lattes. Definitely worth your stop while in town.
