Such a great little place tucked away in downtown Davidson. Great beer selection, healthy snacks and friendly service. The patio out back is great after a hike or run. One of the coolest places in Davidson.

I hadn't been to Summit Coffee in many years. It was nice to see the light and airy updated interior design.

I can't say their drinks taste better than Starbucks, as much as I wish I could. We always go dairy-free, and their soy drinks are a bit strong on the soy flavor, perhaps not sweet enough with their syrups. Still, their selection is very unique, and that's what makes us come back during the weekends the farmer's market is in town. Their prices are quite reasonable for a local shop as well. The inside is a bit cramped, which seems to get on people's nerves, with everyone always bumping into each other. Still, it's a nice taste of Asheville or Boone in the Charlotte-Metro area.

Awesome local coffee shop in downtown Davidson. The coffee is great, the atmosphere even better, and I love that they support so many local Davidson events. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in downtown Davidson.

My wife is from the area so when we came back into town on a day trip she said we had to stop in for a coffee. The barista was very friendly and accommodated my wife’s annoying drink order (dirty chai, not too sweet, with oat milk). On a hot day the glacier gulp is both delicious and refreshing as well! It also seems like a nice place to potentially get some work done if you’re into that kind of thing.

Just grabbed a latte and some hot chocolate for my kids. Great service and ambiance here. Always enjoy hanging out on the back patio.

I had a good experience at this location. The place has a very comfortable and laid back feel to it. The staff were friendly and informative when I was asking questions about the menu. I love that they offer non-dairy options. I tried their mocha frappé with oat milk and loved it. I would definitely visit again

I do love this little coffee shop, especially on music nights, rainy days & cold days! I go for the atmosphere of a grungy coffee shop from my college days! Haha I like that a lot if the people who work here seem to be environmentally aware, socially aware, artists and/or opened minded people, which can sometimes be difficult to find in this area. However, I only gave it 4 stars because sometimes there is a bit of an "attitude" by some of the servers ... you seriously never know who you're going to get behind the counter. Maybe a high turn over? It's a bummer because most of the time people are very welcoming, but those times when you get the OVER edgey individual it can make the experience less nostalgic.

This is my favorite coffee shop. I've never been disappointed with the service or quality. The coffee is consistently fresh-tasting, and the upstairs seating is cozy with plenty of seats. I especially recommend their iced coffees and espresso beverages.
