A multitude of yummy ice cream flavors along with other offerings like sundaes, floats, and soft serve. They also have a nice selection of fresh chocolates. Definitely worth the visit! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the options and flavors.

All employees were wearing masks, no gloves though. The store limits to 10 the number of people inside and has signs to tell people to keep a safe distance from others.
The icecream is delicious. We had vanilla, cookies and cream, cherry vanilla, and mint chocolate chip and enjoyed them very much.

Unfriendly service and ice cream was not good. I said "hello" when i arrived and a friendly "thank you" after I paid; the guy didn't say a word in return. My ice cream had that freezer taste to it. We ordered 3 cones and it cost over $16. I wouldn't mind paying so much if it was delicious or if the service was impeccable. Even the store itself is nothing worthy of the outrageous prices; it has the look of a cluttered convenience store. And that folks, is how you lose repeat business. We're done with you, Big Buck.

Nice variety of homemade ice cream and unbelievably good chocolates. We get a box for the week and one to take home.

My wife and I have been Homeowners in Corolla for 22 years. For a special treat we always go to Big Bucks Ice Cream for dessert. Not sure why anyone would give a bad review. All of the Ice Cream is Homemade on site and fresh. You may pay more but the cost is well worth it. If you want Turkey Hill go to the Supermarket. In addition, the Handmade Chocolate Covered Pretzels are the best we ever tasted. We ended up ordering ten gift boxes of assorted Chocolates for Holiday Gifts.

Delicious - expensive - but delicious ice cream. I get it if the prices at seasonal resort business are high; they have to make their money now during the warm months. If you go in knowing you’ll likely pay more than you would at home then enjoy the yummy ice cream.

The worst ice cream I have ever had. My family and I spent $15 for three items and tossed them all in the garbage at the bottom of the stairs. My wife and I had the vanilla fudge caramel and my son the strawberry sorbet. We each asked the other if their scoops tasted "strange" and we all agreed. Mine tasted artificially flavored and way too sweet we were all extremely dissatisfied.

Super overpriced ice cream that tasted mediocre at best. Little to no flavor. Not creamy at all. Waxy chips. They also gave me the wrong fudge order, even after I repeated it three or four times. Probably not going back there.

At 10:30 after finishing dinner we strolled by Bucks and saw the “open” sign. My husband and daughter ran up to see if they were actually still open. They were in the middle of closing the shop but the owner let us come in. With three(3) kids , Bucks has been our favorite spot for over 10+ years. Everyone was so nice and the ice cream is incredible !! Such a wonderful gesture to let us come in when clearly everyone was shutting down. It made our night !! Highly recommend!

We went for a banana split back in May at the Corolla location and were surprised that the employer and the manager did not wear any masks or gloves. The girls hands were all over my split but she did not care to wash or use gloves. By the time I sanitized my hands and took my mask off, the split had all melted and a hard, green banana was floating in the brown ice cream water. Then in August we went to the Big bucks Kitty Hawk location and my ice cream was handled by the manager herself who was not wearing any mask or gloves. I returned the ice cream. Although, my husband wanted to eat his ice cream, it was all melted by the time we got downstairs. I am not sure if this ice cream is made from real cream since it is melting as soon as being served. And the consistent lack of care for the health and safety of their customers is unacceptable. Irresponsible businesses attract irresponsible customers some of whom tried to shame us for raising the issue of masks and gloves. We are local and it does not seem to be right that the visitors are teaching the locals how to live. Bad experience.
