Big Buck's Homemade Ice Cream

Homemade quality and flavor! Very pricey, but a great experience. They have a clean air-conditioned shop with plenty of seating and tables, and there’s a playground around the corner for the kids to enjoy. Free parking.

Took a day trip with my daughter to the Carolinas. After a fun filled day on the 4WD beach we wanted Ice cream unfortunately many places were closed but thankfully Big Bucks Homemade ice cream was open! My daughter had the chocolate chip cookie dough. She said it was delicious. I myself had a sprinkle cone with cookies and cream and cake batter very flavorful and delicious ice cream. We will definitely visit this location when we come back to the Carolinas next month.

Wonderful homemade ice cream! The friendliest staff served me quickly.

I ordered cookies and cream on a waffle cone. My husband ordered Carmel fudge twirl on a waffle cone. We both agree the ice cream was bland and seriously lacked flavor. The service was fast and the workers were nice but the quality of the food was awful. I did find a giant rubber ducky for my 11 month old granddaughter which happens to be the theme of her upcoming party!

Unbelievably rude service. When we walked in with our children, the person working immediately turned the music up so loud that we could not hear each other. He then rolled his eyes at us multiple times as we asked one or two basic questions and then ordered our ice cream. I understand people have bad days but the rudeness was completely uncalled for and a terrible face for the business. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Staff was not friendly just there working with no smiles and not personable.
Some of the Ice cream was icy and not creamy and flavorful.
Mint chip tasted like toothpaste.
Espresso chip was okay
Sea salt caramel pretzel and cookie dough were good.
I would have given 3 stars is staff was more friendly.

Ice cream was very good. It was a bit pricey for ice cream. The young boy working that day was very fast at getting orders completed quickly!

This place is the first place I found in the area with true homemade ice cream. The variety was great. The ice cream had a really good flavor to it. It's made in the building making it very special. I would recommend this place for the ice cream. It also has many homemade fudge and candies too!

So yummmy and very delicious flavor of each Ice-Cream. Loved the place where you can sit and have icecream with a big group. Always having a great amount of customer in the shop even at the 9:30 PM. We loved and enjoyed the ice-cream each day of our visit in OBX.

Great little shop. Tons of options and plenty of non ice cream treats for those not interested in the frozen stuff. To top it off, they even had Pokémon card things??? Don’t know, don’t care, but it really made my boys happy tonight!
