The ice cream was delicious! My husband is always searching for a great homemade option. The prices are high and the portions are small. $4.95 for one scoop and the dish is very small. We found the best option was to buy pints for $7.95 a piece and take it home to eat it. The line was very long, but the service was fairly quick. Super yummy homemade option.

This ice cream was just awesome!! Many other items looked super tasty, but we just had the ice cream. We all have our favorites and places that we consider to be real good, but this ice cream is on par with the best of them. Open later so you can end your evening with a super treat. Right in the center of Tim Buck II and easily found.

Fantastic ice cream and really nice little shop. Thank goodness for the wet wipes! One of us got a sundae and it was crazy awesome.

Great flavors and service. I'm a sucker for the buttered toffee. They also have multiple coffee flavors and a great all around selection. Has turned into my favorite ice cream shop on the Outer Banks.

I agree with the previous review. Worst ice cream I've ever tasted. Had the mint chocolate chip. What little taste it had tasted like it came from a mix. Chocolate chips didn't taste like chocolate but tasted like cardboard. Definitely not creamy like a homemade ice cream should be. Watched the guy prepare a new batch of ice cream by weighing out two huge bowls of two different powders. Not sure if it was sugar or what. Prices were steep too. Two single scoop cake cones and two double scoop cake cones came to $21+ and my husband and I ended up throwing ours in the garbage. If it was good ice cream I wouldn't have minded the price. Staff were rude too. Never will go back.

The ice cream tasted good, though had some crystalized ice in some of it. I felt the price was too high for what we got. Toppings were visible, but never offered, so i don't know if thats extra. The shop felt a mess.

Definitely learned my lesson. $17 for 2 baby scoop ice creams. Avoid this place if possible. Definite tourist trap. Small scoops expensive price.

Very disappointing experience. We spent over $26 in ice-cream. The servings size are extremely small. The service is beyond horrible. The ice-cream is good, yet it seemed to be a bother for either employee to get a single sample and a small dish to go with our cone. We kindly asked for a cup of water afterward and it was a major inconvenience for the employees. The only gave us a cup with ice, which we had to go into the bathroom across the hall in order to fill the cup. We really looked forward to coming here, but honestly will not return. We highly recommend Plum Crazy in Duck, just down the road. The lady working there is extremely pleasant.

Think the price for this ice cream is worth it.
Waffle cones were fresh and you can taste the homemade nature of the ice cream compared to other places.

Ice cream was fine, not great, but overpriced! Our family ice cream bill was over $50. We were somewhat surprised/amused by how rude the staff was (everybody). We asked for a soft serve flavor and were simply told no. After we stared, they eventually said they didn't have it. They made no eye contact and clearly were not enjoying their job. The place is a firecode nightmare with too much congestion inside.
