The cutest little coffee shop and it is a win for downtown Concord! The pastries are always amazing and they have great home made syrups. The friendliest owners too. Absolutely worth a visit!

Tried the maple butter latte and cinnamon roll today, and they were phenomenal! Commercial coffee shops can’t compare. The owners are super nice and knowledgeable! I will be coming back anytime I’m in the Concord/Charlotte area.

The best coffee in Concord, NC, really good food and pastries. Great atmosphere, friendly and professional customer service. Big place to have customer or clients out for a copy, Please try the French toast (the best)

The coffee is top notch and a fair price! All the syrups are excellent and not too strong. I especially like maple butter. The baked food are also stellar. Try the cinnamon roll.

Ordered an espresso and drip coffee and both were great and service was quick. Espresso was dialed in nicely to have both a rich and creamy taste and a clean finish (didn’t leave a bitter aftertaste lingering on your tongue). The baristas there were knowledgeable about the coffee and the owner hasn’t cut any corners when it comes to getting the top of the line equipment as you’ll see with their Malkönig grinder from Germany and a nice Simonelli espresso machine.

Space had a clean and modern industrial feel and they offered some delicious looking pastries. Menu was simple which showcases how they put care into doing things the right way rather than just offering dozens of choices.

I’ve worked at several of the top coffee roasters on the east coast and am always looking to find the best coffee when I go to a new town. This place easily has the best coffee in the Concord area.

Forget Starbucks. At Groundwork you get better quality drinks at a lower price and, as the cherry on top, beautiful latte art; all while supporting a local business.

If there was a 6/5 star option, I would choose it. This is not your average coffee shop with your average coffee. The coffee is made fresh by baristas, and they handle everything slowly with care, unlike your local raging Starbucks. The atmosphere is calm and clutter-free, perfect for socializing and working. The staff is amazing and make you feel right at home. If you are looking for QUALITY coffee and people, check GC out!!!

Really cool local coffee shop in Concord. Being from LA, it’s hard to find quality coffee shops in the area. But this one gets my full support. They have great seasonal drinks and the syrups are all house made.

I visited in the evening. Great service, good selection of coffees. They have a cold brew coffee and kombucha also. I didn't want coffee, so I ordered a tea latte, which was really good. Casual atmosphere with open and flexible seating. I would definitely visit again. Free parking.

As a former barista, I was pleasantly surprised to experience the quality of coffee ( especially the syrups ) found in this awesome new addition to the concord area. The baristas are friendly and the atmosphere is perfect for studying or just relaxing with family and friends.
