Do yourself a favor and stop by this coffee shop- it’s the whole package. Delicious coffee, great people, nice aesthetic. Got a chance to chat with the owners- really impressed with their love of their community. Pastries delicious- worth every calorie! Mocha cappuccino- top notch. Bought coffee beans because it was so good! And tried an espresso seltzer- super refreshing. All in all- wish I could give them 6 stars!

My favorite coffee place in downtown Concord. They have an eclectic and creative selection of lattes usually with a few seasonal options. For a light meal they offer toasts, which are more like open-faced sandwiches. The Orange (I believe it was called) had goat cheese, honey drizzle, and candied orange slices. They also carry Verb Coffee beans if you like to make your own coffee at home. On occasion they even feature the art of local artists. I wish they would do that more often! It's a cozy place to stop for a quick coffee and snack.

On our journey around NC trying out new coffee places, I must say this has been the most delightful experience thus far. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles, and great energy. (Side note I just got chills trying the coffee that was in this picture, so dang good) We ordered the pumpkin drink which was phenomenal, along side it, an avocado sandwhich and pumpkin coffee cake. The food was not only filling but light and energy induced. Ready to take on this weekend thanks to Groundwork Coffee. Highly Recommend.

Top notch service and quality coffee/tea! I had the Golden Hello, and my daughter had a mocha latte. Both DELICIOUS!! Warmly welcomed and greeted with the friendliest smile! It’s obvious they love what they do and love connecting with their customers!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Wish I could give Groundwork Common SIX stars because it is above and beyond the vast majority of coffee houses out there. Loved the clean, simple modern decor with open spaces and lots of light. The service was friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic! I had "The Goat Lady," which was a slab of toasted locally made bread slathered with local "Goat Lady" goat cheese, and local strawberry jam. Washed it down with a delicious cafe moca. Great way to start my morning and looking forward to future visits to Groundwork Common.

everything about this shop and the people behind it are exceptional! from the local, fresh ingredients to the house made syrups—you clearly see the desire to support other small business and maintain a high level of quality in both of the menu choices. so grateful to have this quality shop in concord!

As a retired barista and an avid coffee drinker, one of my hobbies is trying out a shop everywhere I go. Groundwork Common is by far one of the best coffee shops I have come across yet. The food, the coffee, the atmosphere, the people—created a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to be back.

The caramel oat milk latte was exceptionally smooth. The atmosphere & decor are perfect and the employees so friendly.

This little coffee shop is so cute and sweet. They have the best coffee, and I love their chai tea latte! They also have some breakfast items on the menu. Nothing too big, but definitely a nice addition. They also have a few sweet pieces of local jewelry in the shop too.

Great drinks but it takes forever to get an overpriced sandwich. Delicious ingredients but I have worked as a cook for a breakfast cafe before. One just as bougie as Groundwork’s. Never in a million years would my crew let the cook take 20 plus minutes to make toast. They really need to speed up the kitchen line with prep work or better trained staff. Especially with the cost of eating there.
