In a land full of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, it's rare to find a truly great coffee shop that has its own unique take on what great coffee is. Qualla Java has its niche figured out. The shop is a great blend of art, unique accents and eclectic style. The staff were on point and very attentive. The coffee and specially drinks are like none other, very different but a perfect blend of flavors in every aspect. If you are in the area of Cherokee, NC you should definitely stop here and experience this amazing shop!

Their cold brew coffee is great, and $3 for a 20 oz is hard to beat. The back patio overlooks the river, and there is ample seating inside. Other than peak tourist season, this place is not too crowded. Since they roast their own beans and serve fair-trade coffee, it's well worth the wait even during peak leaf season in the fall.

Some of the best coffee I've had! Super excited to try their beans that are roasted in-house!

As frequent visitors of Starbucks we were skeptical of finding something that equally pleased our taste buds. We tried the Moon People, Bear Butter, and a few others we can't remember. You really can't go wrong. Everything we tried was great. Qualla Java does not disappoint. In fact we made 4 trips to Qualla Java in 2 days. We would pick Qualla Java over Starbucks any day and their employees are just as awesome as the coffee.

First time I've ever been and it was a great experience. Atmosphere was nice, the barista and cashier were really friendly and helpful. Coffee was made quickly and it was delicious! Best coffee in Cherokee!

Really great place! I wanted something with a little spice and asked if the First Fire could be made cold or if the barista had any good suggestions and he suggested one that wasn't on the menu called the Bigfoot. I believe it was an iced latte with white chocolate, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper. And there might have been something else in there, but I can't remember what all went in to it. It was awesome! I had to come back the next morning to get another one before I left Cherokee. And now that I'm back home and far away I'm craving it like mad.

Such a great place to go. We have had coffee and bakery items here. They have indoor and outdoor seating. If you sit outside you will be beside the river. Oh what a beautiful view while relaxing with a cup of delicious coffee. Handicap accessible and plenty of parking.
