Coco and the Director

The cafe itself had an inviting and relaxing vibe. The staff were welcoming. I was able to relax, charge my devices and watch a movie on the big screen while I drank my iced chai latte which I was very happy with. I also had a muffin and if was delicious.

Coffee is okay but their cronuts are a must! But be there early because they sell out super fast! 🥲

It’s such a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing coffee place. Perfect spot to read, work, or just hang. The espresso was better than most places I’ve been to.

The coolest coffee shop in Charlotte. I feel like I’m in NYC when I’m sitting inside, they have such a unique setup for seating. I always get an iced mocha, and it’s a perfectly balanced blend of espresso, chocolate, and sugar.

When I go to a Cafe the one thing that bothers me the most is the one size option. If I wanted a small cup of coffee I would order a small. I asked for a larger latte and when I saw the cup I said I ordered a large latte
She said this is the only size we offer. And I ordered a pastry. It was hard as a rock. We were there for a work meeting. And we ordered a few items for our staff. We all had purchased something to eat. I then asked for a plate she looked under wherever they should be and she said were all out.. They were all dirty. So they handed me a stack of to go boxes. Honestly I was really disappointed. I would say maybe next time. But I won't be coming back. Take care of your place. Customer service is a crucial part of today's broken world. Coco and the Director is literally one of my favorite spots to get coffee in Uptown. You wouldn't even be able to tell that attached to the hotel because that's how amazing it is.

The inside of the shop is absolutely beautiful. Super boho vibey and the perfect spot to lounge with your laptop. I love all of the cool seating that they have. I visit Coco & the Director at least once a week or once every other week and get the same thing everytime, but I know for a fact the other options are great also. My order is an Iced Latte with vanilla bean & mocha syrup with light ice - absolutely delicious!!!

Charged $75 for a cup of coffee. Went to the location and spoke with a manager. She agreed it was an error, would resolve, and would follow up with me. Left my contact info but never heard anything. Called over a week later and left messages asking her to call me back for an update. Coffee is fine but $75/cup is too steep.

Amazing atmosphere, and even better tea. Worth the wait in line 💖
