One of my favorite places to get coffee and study. The upstairs atmosphere reminds me of a wood cabin making for a great place to read or work on schoolwork. They also serve beer and have plenty of seating upstairs and down. Great place for a coffee date!

Great coffee in a cute setting! Loved this coffee place and will definitely be stopping by again next time we are in town!

Small, smelly. (Probably due to the disgusting back alley it's in, with garbage everywhere.) Struck me as very unsanitary. The staff were very judgemental. As well the coffee was not brilliant.

Friendliest business in the entire town of Boone plus they have the best coffee!! Best cortado I ever had!! And the vegan pastries are amazing! Wish I could give them 100 stars!!

I went here to study at 8:15pm because Google says they are open till 10. At 8:50, after I got comfy, the barista came around and told the customers individually they were closing in ten minutes! I have been here till 10 on other nights. If this isn't your schedule, then update your hours on Google. I would not have ordered a drink and sat down if I had known that they were closing so soon. I was very disappointed.

This is where you want to be! Super badass coffeeshop vibes set in a converted Ford Tractor Dealership from decades ago with a seating bar facing out the panoramic showcase window overlooking the back alley. Great place to chill and grab a wide selection of cold drinks along with any coffee drinks and the best milk/milk substitute variety around!

Fav- hot med. Vanilla Latte w/ oat milk 😋

Fiancé and I were looking for a local alternative to Starbucks and were excited to try a new coffee shop. Due to the political sign plastered on the window we decided to turned around. We agree these people matter, but we cannot support a business who supports hate, vandalism, and death of innocent people and police officers! Please be a coffee shop instead of a politician!

Best coffee we had on our trip around the BRP and Smokies so far, and super kind and patient baristas even when busy. These guys KNOW what they’re doing; they have light, medium and dark roast, three varieties each, and their house choice was perfect for cappuccino over the oat milk they use - one of five (!) non dairy options.

E-News has great coffee, but the baristas are rude. Despite the facts that E-News is the closest coffee shop to where I live and that I think they have the best coffee in Boone, I have started purposefully going to other coffee shops because the baristas have been so un-friendly towards me over the past month or two. I don't know why they would be rude to me, since I am always friendly towards them and tip well. But I'd rather not go to a coffee shop that makes me feel bad for giving them my business, so I'll take my business to some other shop that appreciates it.

Enews is a cozy, homey coffee shop with a real edge appeal. During the pandemic; they have operated in some of the safest standards; and they enforce masks like no other. The staff is fun and quirky, and the coffee is always good. I get their chai latte. Dirty of course. So here’s the tea: GOOD COFFEE. AMAZING PASTRIES. like. BEST. IVE.EVER.HAD pastries. FUN ENERGY. GREAT STAFF.
