Yuuuummmyyy! I had an apple cider chai. Got an 8 ounce-mistake. I will definitely get a bigger cup next time! It’s a little shop with tables to work at. Attentive staff that were just pumping out these drinks like pros and with a smile on their face!

As someone who drinks coffee pretty much everyday, during my time visiting Boone I had to visit Espresso News. The café itself is nicely kept and spacious (however there was no indoor seating, due to Covid), and offered a nice, friendly atmosphere. In terms of offerings, they had the regular espresso offerings as well as some interesting ones, including espresso with tonic water (if I recall correctly). The barista was very nice and knew what he was talking about, and offered patience as I asked questions about methodology and offerings. They do have dairy milk alternatives, I chose oatmilk as mine. They also have several different flavoring syrups, to which I had salted caramel, and it was delicious. The barista drew a cute "milk man" in my latte (as he called it), and I will definitely visit again if I find myself in Boone once more.

Some of the best spots in the world are hard to get to. Espresso News is no exception. Make no mistake however, truly THE BEST coffee in Boone,(possibly the whole southeast).Has been for years! Beans roasted ON SITE. WEEKLY. Locally owned. I’m ruined. Nothing else will ever suffice. Anything else just lets me down.

I was asking questions about some of the coffee items and the girl at the counter acted uninterested and bored. I walked out due to unfriendly staff

It was great, I had pineapple casserole and dark chocolate doo doos. The ambiance was spectacular and the owner even started a fire in the parking lot using only his feet but nothing was better than the friends I made tonight and the friendships that grew even stronger.

Great place to work or meet up with friends on campus. The baristas are very friendly and take the time to get to know their customers. Having lunch options like fresh soup is very convenient too.

Heard good things about this place and was looking forward to trying their coffee. The think espresso itself was good, but the barista that was there did not care whatsoever about the milk and essentially burned it, making the drink really disappointing... :/ They also spilled it and didn't care to clean it at all and just handed it to me.

Always the best lattes in town! Staff are super friendly and actually have a conversation with you. By far my favorite coffee shop in Boone!
