lovely little nook right on the outskirts of downtown. each donut is dropped fresh so it’s worth waiting a couple minutes. plus they offer coffee drinks (both drip and espresso) so you can have a cup while you wait for your goodies. so nice to have a vegan pastry in black mtn. give them a visit next time you’re in the mood for a treat!
Great donuts. I was skeptical because I usually don’t seek out vegan donuts but these were great. Fried to order just right on the outside, light and fluffy inside, and the glazes were very good.
Stopped by here with a couple of friends while visiting Asheville! All of the flavors looked amazing, so I picked two I wanted and then asked my friends if I could take a bite of one flavor of theirs I hadn't picked. The person working must've overheard me, because they threw in an extra of the flavor I wanted to try!! (blackberry filled with matcha glaze - so good)
Incredibly kind staff and the doughnuts were DELICIOUS!
The best, most delicious, FRESH donuts in the area. Bonus- they’re completely VEGAN! This place is run by stellar people, employs a kind and friendly staff, and is all around great. It’s always a good day for dough house donuts!!
The staff was very nice, and the doughnuts were delicious. Not too sweet, but the glaze made up for it, which made for a good blend of flavors. The drinks were perfect, definitely will come back!
The great: staff. Truly, A++ on friendliness and service. Just way cool.
The Bad: the doughnuts. I really wanted to love this place, but despite being made to order, the doughnuts were just off. They were over-fried, almost to a hush-puppy like consistency (especially for the gluten free one). Vegan doughnuts can be tricky, but these did not pass my kids’ test ( and they’ll eat just about any doughnut known to man). I have celiac disease, but I’ve had much better GF pastries elsewhere (shout out to Good Food GF bakery in Salt Lake City).
I hope they’ll take this review to heart and continue to experiment to produce a lighter, less-oily, and less-crispy yeast doughnut. I want them to succeed :)
I don't go there because I'm vegan. I go there because I'm a doughnut person. In my opinion, they have the best in the area! Everyone is always so kind and the decor is fantastic!

I’ve had vegan doughnuts in all of the major cities across the country but the ones from here are hands down the best!!!
Go early so you can grab freshly made ones. Try the garlic knots (so fabulous!) if you can handle spicy.
