After seeing the reviews I wanted to love it. We drove quite a ways to try the donuts. I was super disappointed. They tasted over fried and left a bitter greasy taste. Unfortunately we got several to bring home too and they definitely don’t keep well. A few hours after arriving home I went to eat one of the jam filled ones I had bought but it was so bad I had to toss it and the others. I feel like it was a waste of 25$ for sure. We won’t be back. Also fyi it’s a vegan place which is great but if you are like me and need real cream for your coffee you won’t get it here. They have oat milk 🤮 not the same as a real creamer!
Holy $#!+. These doughnuts are amazing and easily some of the best I've ever had - vegan or not. Totally worth the price and definitely worth the short wait. Even the coffee was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's really too bad I couldn't box up the entire business and take it home with me.
I will start by saying I normally don't like doughuts...I know, I know. They are usually too sweet, too dense, or too oily and make me very sick. My husband wanted to try this place and I agreed to give them a try. I ordered the cinnamon sugar classic, but into this pillowy cloud of goodness and heard angels sing. It's a Christmas miracle. A doughnut I would eat again and again. Its a good thing I don't live closer because my bank account and waistline would be in trouble. Not just the best doughnuts in Asheville, but in my opinion, anywhere 🤩🥰❤
Donut let the vegan fool you: these are Hands down the best donuts in WNC! The staff is so kind and accommodating, and the donuts are fresh made, hot and huge! Amazing selection of seasonal flavors made from real ingredients. We’re so lucky to have this spot in black mountain!
Friendly is the word, as we stopped at Dough House. We saw the Chefess top each of our doughnuts while our beverage was prepared.
Outside at a table (nice day) we tasted our purchase. They were wonderful! Light, no hint of grease, flavorful doughnut and warm soft topping. Wonderful! My Expresso Chocolate was gone, and so was my Cinnamon before I could take a photo. So I got two more to show.
They were absolutely amazing. Fresh. Very friendly staff. PLUS Gluten free option! But get there early because with how delicious they are the GF option isn’t there for too long! But if you need some you can always call a day in advance!

Hot vegan donuts and punks. What more do you need in life? The donuts are huge but so good that you will definitely need to get more than one!
