K and K's The Old Teahouse

This place needs a make-over inside. Everything is dark and depressing…the walls, floor and furniture are all brown. I can see why their employee turn over is high. Vestal is a gloomy place on it’s own weather wise and the inside doesn’t make me feel happy. It makes me not want to visit again but my son loves the blizzard drinks here. It would only take some paint for the walls, maybe paint your side tables a fun color plus fun artwork. You could even reach out to BU art students to hang their work for sale (possibly). Also a fun neon sign or painted mural for a selfie wall.

I walked into this place a new customer and I will not return. The guy was so miserable. I wanted a milk boba tea. I said “hi I would like a green tea with whole milk, and peach poppers.” I then asked abut if they had flavorings as well. He said they only had what was on the board and the board has a lot of different stuff so I looked and asked for peach flavoring. My boyfriend paid 6 something for my large drink and when I got it there was no milk. So I asked him why I had no milk and he replied “we don’t have any milk.” That would have been nice to know before buying my drink and he turned his back to me immediately. His tone was not pleasant. He didn’t know anything about boba teas and was really rude. I won’t return. If you don’t have it then express it because there are tons of pictures from this place with milk boba teas.
Not to mention the tea itself taste awful. It taste like someone put perfume in it.

Their tea was good however last time we were there they ran out of tapioca. How can a bubble tea place run out of bubbles?

The Boba was decent. The only late-ish spot in the area as far as I can tell. You can sit in and chill here for awhile too.

K&K's teahouse never fails to impress me with their high-quality service that they provide as well as their amazing drinks. When I first moved to Vestal, and tried the bubble tea here, I thought I was in heaven. That first positive experience was why I kept coming back to K&K's old Teahouse over the past few years. Usually when I go to K&K's The Old Teahouse, I like to make a donation to help the business since bubble Tea makes me happy.

The best bubble tea I have found anywhere! And everywhere I go I look for bubble tea! Their tapioca is perfectly soft and sweet and the variety of flavors available means you never run out of customizable options! They also are always very fast preparing the drink!

I like this place. I wish there jelly was more jelly-like. It seems to be like hard bits. But overall, I come here often for bubble tea.

Service was great. The young people working there were really nice.

It’s a bit run down, definitely in need of remodeling or a good deep cleaning. Looks not very hygienic behind the counter and the store itself. If you’re a clean person, you may be deterred when you see what things look like behind the counter.

Needs improvement considering the competition on the same street. It’s “old.”

My drink was okay, no option for sugar level.
