Top of the Morning Cafe

Stopped in Utica on the way to Cape Cod and searched for a homestyle breakfast spot. So glad we found this place. My husband's corned beef omelet was delicious and generous. I'm a bit of a pancake fanatic :) theirs are divine! Coffee was delicious. Our waitress was sweet and efficient considering there were only two waitresses working. Loved this place and highly recommend if you don't need a fancy place to eat. The adorable frogs were almost kidnapped! :)

Best bang for the buck. Everything is homemade, super large portions, staff is super friendly. If you have never been here, you’ll really missing out.

It was 7:00am on Sunday. We were able to choose our table, and were greeted by a friendly waitress right away who was ready to pour coffee.

The 2-page menu offers a variety of breakfast options. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and Italian toast. I like my home fries fried, but they only grill them, which was OK because I was impressed with the seasoning they used for the home fries. They were flavorful and delicious.

During this visit, there was only one waitress, but she was very attentive, and I felt she provided a high quality of service.

I recommend going to Top of the Morning Cafe for breakfast. There are a lot of regulars that go there so you may want to go early to beat them.
They accept cash and cards.

Fantastic biscuits and gravy in the morning, but they don’t serve breakfast all day, AND their evening menu leaves a lot to be desired

We intentionally went later on Friday about 6 so the meal would not be rushed. We were the only others there waiting for an order. Another group came in later after we ordered. It seemed like a long time to wait for broiled fish. I now suspect the waitress was not paying attention because the fish was luke warm. Another inattentive waitress there. I will not be back. I'm tired of trying to support local businesses only to be disappointed by the product. I would rather get a microwave dinner.

First time I was there, had a vegetable omelette, waiter was very nice food was really good. Definitely, I will be back to this place.

Great place for breakfast. There hashbrowns are incredible. I had the 3 little pigs breakfast sandwich. It has ham sausage and bacon plus eggs and cheese, it was very filling. Definitely recommend stopping in for the full breakfast menu they offer you won't be disappointed.
