A truly authentic hipster's coffee shop. It's really just a short walk from the Armory Square Area. Armory Square lost its 1970's Bohemian roots in the early 90s to a more gentrified Suburbanite friendly environment. The Kind Coffee Company gives you a taste what that 1970s Armory Square once was. So if you're taking a coffee break and you work somewhere near Armory Square or along the strip on West Fayette Street between West Street and Genesee Street, take a hike to this place for unique experience and a great cup of coffee served up by the owner who is truly a coffee connoisseur.

Excellent coffee, roasted daily and sold by the pound or cup. You can buy ground or whole bean but if you want more than a pound you should call a day or two ahead as there is only a limited amount roasted each day.

I order from him mail-order (I know Doug from college). Great and ever-changing selection of beans, roasted to order exactly as you wish, from all over the world. Love the Costa Rican Miel (honey-roasted), Kona and Guatemalan I got there, but the exact beans available constantly changes.

Very wonderful coffee. Like, amazing coffee. I'm sad it's no longer on my way to work. The owner is very cool and lets you give his dog treats sometimes.

Nice little coffee shop that serves only coffee roasted that day. Only one roast is available per day, and the get darker as the goes by. I went in on a Friday and got some dark roast. Very good flavor without being burned.
