Very cool concept and very cool vibe. Multiple food vendors all in one building so you can satisfy any craving.
It’s like a big fancy food court, with a nice bar. You can take the food and enjoy it at any vendor’s seating.
There’s a cool kid playing area in the back, but you have to stay close to them because it backs up onto a rougher neighbourhood.
Vendors pricing is a bit high for what you’re getting, but the decor and vibe are very nice.

Awesome place to hang out and grab a variety of good food. And I never expected it but it’s great for kids too! There is a play area inside and outside for kiddos. There are a bunch of food places so you really have your pick of cultural cuisine. I tried a piece of cake from cake bar. DELICIOUS. Jerk Pork from Ermas island, and a Thai dish from firecracker Thai. It was all SO good. Definitely want to go back and try different places.

Many options for lunch! Nice open space for dining with friends. They have Soul food, Thai food, Jamaican food, Burmese, Baked goods and a side bar for cocktails, beer, wine and drinks. Too good to single out just one place.

This market reminded me of a more upscale version of the mall food areas. They had everything from fried chicken to wine to deserts. There were a ton of options to eat and most locations were busy. I personally
ate twice at Baghdad Restaurant because it was delicious and the pricing was very good. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Syracuse!

Such a cool place! You can enjoy world food from different vendors. There is a coop market.
+Sometimes, there are a few events such as the 'Sunday Market'.

the Salt City Market (SCM) itself...... is a great addition to Syracuse, considering there is not A lot here. The food however, is hit or miss. To start, Ive been waiting to try Miss Prissy's. Everytime I come she is always closed, with some be back at a certain time sign, or on break, then no one ever comes back, at this point she should really just close up shop because this restaurant seems to only be a front. When literally EVER other place is open, this restaurant is constantly ALWAYS closed even on busy days. Soulutions, has been really great, food and service has been a great experience. The Cake Bar, is truly nothing special to be honest. An overpriced kiosk that sells desserts that you can truly either make yourself, or get anywhere else for 1/3 the price. Tried their Lotus cake, tasted like duncan hines boxed devils food chocolate cake base with a mock cookies and cream frosting and some bad overly sweet carmel frosting... Nothing impressive here or "complex". Cupcakes were the same. This was my second time here to see if they improved since the first time I came... safe to say, still looking for my go to dessert place cause this place isnt it.... Everywhere else in this market without making this review longer than it already is, has been good. Not Amazing, but a nice experience if your looking to try something new thats fairly affordable.

Awesome assortment of restaurants. Order and seat yourself. Great for many people to get whatever they feel like eating! So delicious. Very impressive.

What a neat shared community space! I came across this spot on a recent trip to Syracuse and it was such a find I came back during my travels the next week! Salt city market is a food hall and public market with a full service bar for adult beverages. It is very big inside with tons of seating inside and outside. It felt very open, airy and Scandinavian in decor.
There was a cuisine for every taste including Middle Eastern, Burmese, Jamaican, Thai, Vietnamese, Soul Food, pies, cakes and juices. They also serve coffee in the morning in the bar area. At one end they also had a really cute co-op market with a nice variety of higher end staples and convenience foods.
A great place for a quick bite, meet with friends or take a meeting.

It's definitely a place to stop and grab a bite, there is Thai, Ethiopian, Vietnamese, and many more ethnic foods available.
Note: parking is near Dickerson st. Past the bridge there is a ton of loitering, avoid that side I'd you can.

This is a great spot! Lots of variety and all of it is worth a try! Met lots of very nice people working the booths as well.
