Perfect spot to stop for great food and/or picnic provisions! Great service and selection of ciders and local goods.
We loved the classic egg sandwich, chicken sandwich, salad and grabbed an extra banana bread for the road! Affordable and tasty!

It was my first time visiting. Was a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. First time I've ever had a grilled cheese with mustard and pickles, and it was amazing.

Very nice and sweet place to get breakfast 🥞 and coffee ☕️. They have good internet as well. Staff is great 👍.

Jenny and Craig have done a fantastic job curating a comfortable and refined neighborhood go-to. Great cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, turkey melt and slaw. To die for griddled banana bread! Selections of cider are vast but local and they’re happy to help with recommendations. 3 min off the highway- a new must stop for trips up the Taconic!

If I could give this place 10/10 I would. The food is amazing, highly recommended the breakfast sandwich with an iced coffee. The griddled banana bread is perfection. Most importantly the staff and owner are super nice and friendly. This is the type of place you want to keep coming back to

The wife and I were driving through, wanted a quick breakfast found this place, said why not.
Typical small town mom and pop kinda joint. Get a hot coffee but was also a general store. Staff knew everyone's name that came through. The very definition of quaint.
Wife and I order or food and coffee, we pay... Saw some donuts, said why not.
Best. God. Damn. Donut. I. Have. Ever. Eaten. Period.
It was a Suger coated apple cider infused circle of delicious. It was the sort of moist that makes you think that you bit into a stick of butter. Sugary sweet but not enough to lose the apple flavour. Hands down fantastic.
It gets better folks.
Banana bread on the griddle. I don't know if they used butter or lard, I don't really care if I get heart disease next week, it was amazing and I'll die happy. Warm bread is great, but all toasty and crisp on the outside, and fluffy nutty goodness on the inside sealed in with buttery aroma is out of this world.
Breakfast was great, coffee was great, baked goods were phenomenal, service was great. If you live near by, you probably already know. If you don't, go for a Sunday drive through upstate NY and find out.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant/general store in Clinton Corners. The owners, Craig and Jenny, truly care about your experience and each time I’ve visited (which is up to around 20 times at this point), I have been greeted by one or both of them engaged in friendly conversation with “regulars” as well as people passing through.
The food is amazing – everything my friends and I have ordered has been melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I’m a fan of the fried chicken sandwiches and cheeseburgers, but have ordered the tuna sandwich as well as some of the breakfast items, and truly, nothing has disappointed.
Highlights:
- Great selection of hard ciders
- Super yummy banana bread
- The French Fries are always perfectly crisp

Love this place. Jenny and Craig are so chill and friendly. The burgers and breakfast sandwiches are superior. And the griddled banana bread is top godamn drawer. Like I had no idea banana bread could do that. Griddled? With flaky salt? Brilliant play guys. Absolutely brilliant.

We love GR!!! They have become our 2nd kitchen for breakfast & lunch, and even Monday Suppers! Everything is always delish! And the community they have created inside their 4 walls is truly special.

Great place to grab a quick bite. I live down the road from the Russet and I have never had a bad meal. The owners are a young couple who are super nice and personable. You can tell that they have a vested interest in not just feeding you well, but providing a home cooked kind of atmosphere. The menu is the perfect size, being concise without making you feel like you are missing anything. It does a good job of walking the line by having something for everyone without the frills that can take a ton of time or inventory to keep up with. They have a couple things on draft as well as wine and cider. I am really fond of stopping on by and having a beer and a burger and chatting with Craig and Jenny, or sitting on the porch and watching the world turn. I would highly recommend that anybody in the area stop on by!
