This has always been my favorite place for a snack or lunch. I love their soups, freshly baked and buttered bread, sandwiches, and LOVE the cashew cranberry salad. It’s so rustic inside and transports you to a special place with the atmosphere. The restaurant is owned by a religious cult and sometimes the conversation gets bizarre and I wonder if I should be supporting this type of business… but, I don’t like most food places in Oneonta… so for now, I will still be a regular whenever I visit.

I love stopping here on every trip to Oneonta. Great sandwiches, yerba mate, and cream cheese pie! All of the staff have been great and they remember you from past visits.

Eclectic spot, but super good food and friendly staff! Get the Deli Rose sandwich and some chili!

Went here for lunch for my wife and I's anniversary. It is like stepping into a different world! Everything is delicious, it is worth going just for drinks or a treat but also makes a great spot for lunch!

If you like cults that oppress women and take advantage of free labor, this is the spot for you!

The atmosphere was great, server was very polite, and there wasn't a crowd. The food was prompt, healthy portion sized (personally, I would have liked a little more generous portions for the price. But with the right mood, I would go back again.)
Again, everything was very good. Loved the atmosphere and the food was really good.

This is a magical place. A gem. Physically the space is incredibly beautiful, totally handmade using salvage wood from old barns. Spiritually it's balm for the soul, a calm and lovely retreat into another time. Socially it's a place where you always feel welcome and at home, free to linger for hours over a coffee. The people who work here are so genuinely kind and friendly it's impossible not to enjoy yourself. And lastly the food and drinks are special. Made with love and full of healthy ingredients. Prices are very low for the caliber of ingredients and the quality. I can't imagine anyone not enjoying themselves at this Oneonta treasure!

One of my favorite places in Oneonta. The interior is unique and connected to Oneonta's history. The staff is super friendly and helpful suggesting the perfect food and drinks. The prices are very reasonable.

The atmosphere here is amazing, and so is the aesthetic. The food is very good as well. We were seated within a timely manner, and we got our food very fast as well. They have different soups of the day, and they're already amazing, and definitely worth the money. This place is open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. I believe they take Saturdays and Sundays off for the Sabbath, but it is very convenient as I normally work until 1 am most nights during the week. If I could suggest something to get here, it would be any type of hit sandwich!! They are amazingly great!!

Everything about this eatery oozes comfort. The space itself is a work of art with its old world iron work and natural wood decor. The wait staff couldn’t have been kinder-salt of the earth kind of souls whipping up tasty concoctions. Expansive selections of teas, coffees with delicious soups, salads and sandwiches. Loved it! They even sent us off with fresh baked goods. I feel fortunate to have found this gem. Thank you yellow deli ❤️
