Nice place, very relaxed and casual environment. The iced coffee was delicious and my sandwich was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive but maybe a little swamped - I guess it’s a popular spot! Would stop here again!

Phenomenal service! Cannot recommend enough. Staff are welcoming, gluten free/ vegan options are tasty and cafe is adorable. Ordered a drip coffee, GF egg and vegan cheese sandwich as well as a salad with so many tasty toppings!!

I love this place. I come here for lunch sometimes, I get a chicken salad, freshly squeezed juice, and of course coffee to go. Super delicious, definitely stop by.

Cute place on a very busy street.
My friend and I sat on the one outside table, it was lovely EXCEPT for all the traffic, especially big trucks, going by a not wide street. Why Montgomery NY allows all that truck traffic on that little street is beyond me.
The food and service is VERY GOOD! I had a chicken salad sandwich and side salad. Fresh and tasty with really good bread. The service was lovely and charming.
There are a few inside tables that are away from the door/service area.
The pastries looked great but I was strong & didn’t order any.
There are many gluten-free options to eat for a meal and in the sweets.
Very nice. Go if you are in Montgomery or nearby.

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful spot. I’m always on the hunt for great, local coffee shops and this place has exceeded all expectations. Java Blue is more than tasty coffee - you will feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. Stay and have some food, too. You will be very glad you did!

TL;DR - A gem deserving of its high reviews. Definitely get a coffee and if it’s quiet, solicit them for something creative.

A very cute cafe / market featuring pastries, coffee and hot food. I didn’t get any hot food but the coffee will keep me coming back. The person behind the counter was friendly and personable. I hope this place gets more business than the local fast food coffee at McDonalds and Dunkin.
