The best tea selection within a hundred miles. Internationally known. Tea samples are always brewing and you can request one. The cafe is not really worth the effort. If you are in Millerton, stop by and get a pound of your favorite tea.

Went there with my husband, mom, and our two puppies. We sat on the terrace and the waiter brought a bowl of water over for our dogs. (Not allowed inside though).
Food was good, the shop is cool, and the staff is knowledgeable.

Adorable gift shop. Cozy cafe to sip tea and have flat bread with goat cheese or french onion soup. Upon entering through the front door off the main street, you can sample the daily tea special. We had chocolate mint. Delicious. The tea "barista" was amazing. He was very informative about anything you ever wanted to know about tea. Which probably like yourself, was nothing. Great experience anyway Reasonably priced as well. (Millerton location)

We went basically to select some of their teas to purchase and use as gifts and for ourselves. Great teas.

Had a wonderful time with my daughter here for lunch. The food we had was delicious. We did split the hummus plater and the Japanese vegetables rice dish and pot of tea. Was enough for the food for the both of us. Service was very good.

Nice, unrushed atmosphere. We ate there on a Tuesday afternoon. Not sure how the weekend might be, due to a small number of tables. Food gourmet quality, and not overly seasoned, but tasty. Everything fresh. Prices reasonable.

Tea Tasting is now my preferred way to try teas that I've never sampled. H&S Staff are helpful and knowledgeable, which made my first visit both delightfully informative and a productive shopping experience. Highly recommended!

Barney and Sons could call it quits after mastering the joys of a simple tea and maybe even biscuit service but they did not! They continued on to complete a full menu where every dish stands up to the quality of their tea creating a well rounded experience whether it is for a sumptuous breakfast or a light afternoon sipping.

The best tea shop in New England (besides Dobra) with some incredible food options. Millerton is a great little town. Check out Irving Farm coffee and Bash Bish falls nearby.

Great place for lunch and shopping, picking up your favorite teas!
