Soulshine Bagel

I just moved to lake placid about a month ago and was having trouble finding a good cafe. I work right next door and one day decided to check the place out, and am glad I did. The coffee is one of the best yet and their sandwiches and home made muffins/bagels etc are one of my favorites so far. And it helps when the staff is always helpful and happy. Definitely recommend it.

What a great family owned place. I recommend to try Polaris bagel with smoked salmon. It is a tradition already to visit this bagel shop while we are in Lake Placid on vacation.

I don't write reviews very often........ away we go.
First off: great staff, great owners (very approachable and friendly). Small, clean and cozy atmosphere. I would not advise bring the whole hockey team in for food. Just call and place your order because it is way to small but this is a perfect spot for couples. (Limited seating). Definitely ordering 2 dozen bagels for tomorrow.

A full-range coffee bar brought to you by Green Mountain Brewing company. lattes, cappuccino, tea, you name it, they have it. Bagels are garenteed fresh daily with a wide range of flavored cream cheese spreads.

Vegan? Vegetarian? Keto (low carb) diet? High carb diet? Gluten free? Nut allergy? Don't worry. They have a fair amount of options to choose from.

Spent the whole morning sleeping? don't worry- bfast and lunch is served all day however getting up early is advised. Since they make x amount of bagels a day so they might run out of the bagel you want by 1pm. (Learned that the hard way)

Picky kid eaters? They have a kid friendly menu that Kidz and the Kidz AT HEART are sure to enjoy. Try the Graham cracker bagel w Nutella and banana. It's my favorite.

Final note: this place really does exceed my expectations and could easily compete with any restaurant in NYC. As a Bronx native, this place has some of the quickest and professional service I've ever seen. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting or even if you need a detour before heading home

I can say this, Lake Placid falls short when it comes to food. This breakfast shop does not. It was our best meal of the day for our four days there. I would have eaten dinner there if it were open.

Such a great, cute and surprisely INEXSPENSIVE place! Bagels are fresh and tasty, very good selection of flavored coffee. Fast and friendly service. They have rainbow bagel too! Have always being happy every time we have visited!

Excellent service, very friendly owners, and delicious bagel sandwiches - even with the more than heavy volume of people due to Skate America. Will make this one of our go-to places on our frequent trips to Lake Placid.

I ordered wrap and bagel with cream cheese . Wrap was ok but cream cheese was not fresh at all. Tasted terrible. I had to throw it out. The man at the counter was extremely rude. Don’t waste your money. I will not recommend anyone to go there.

Decent bagels. Worst Americano ☕️ I have ever had 🤮 not very friendly staff either.

Nice surprise to see this was opened early on Dec.26th.
We has breakfast wraps which were delicious. A small and cozy place to take on the go because not a lot of places to sit and eat but I need to say an excellent service to the the man who served us that morning. It makes a difference.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast sandwiches. The eggs are microwaved, the ham was watered down low quality meat and was served cold. The only thing that was good was the bagels, though they weren't even toasted. My partner had an egg,cheese and bacon where the everything was microwaved. Your better off having a Jimmy Dean sandwich.
