I’ve tried them once before a while ago and finally tried them again today and omg! I forgot how good their bagels are! Had a plain bagel with regular cream cheese and it was toasted perfectly, cream cheese had good flavor as well as the bagel itself. It’s run by an honest and hard-working Moldovan family. Thanks Vlado! I’ll definitely see you guys more often!
This place has the best bagels I have ever eaten! It is a little small and can get a little crowded but it is so worth the wait. My kids loved the rainbow bagel. My favorite was the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese (delicious)! Great family owned place. The texture of the bagels were perfect! We were there every morning of our vacation in Lake Placid!
So worth the 20 minute wait in line! There’s a reason they are always packed- amazing bagels! The everything bagel sandwiches we got were amazing, they don’t skimp on the seasoning on the bagels like so many places do. And the bacon scallion cream cheese was to die for. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Lake Placid and don’t mind the little wait in line (it does go fast!)
Very rude. Food was good, but the experience was not. Asked for a gluten free bagel (which is listed on the menu) and was just told "no gluten free" - was not given any alternative options. My boyfriend got a bagel sandwich which took about 30 seconds to come out so I am guessing they are not made fresh. Also, we got a juice that was $3 at this place and saw the same exact juice at another place up the road for $1.75. What a rip off. Plenty of other food options on main street to choose from. Would not recommend this one.
After reading online that they had rainbow bagels, we just had to stop! We ended up coming here every day for breakfast. They had fresh, homemade bagels and cream cheese options. They had other unique options for flavors as well. There was limited seating. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a stop! They bad breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches as well.
Amazing place for bagel if you are in the area, I tried the everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and I loved it. Friendly staff and fair price. :)
We stopped here for breakfast, food was great, variety of bagels and lots of options for bagel sandwiches, ordered to go. They had a graham cracker bagel which I’d never heard of before and it was good! They were very busy when we stopped in but we got our food quickly. We plan on going back for more quick, inexpensive breakfasts during our stay.
This is the only place in the tri-lakes area where you can get fresh hand-made bagels every day. Vladimir and Victoria, the young, hard working and very good looking immigrant couple who took over the business some years ago, have turned it around to where people can be seen lined up down the street each morning during the summer waiting to sink their teeth into one of their delicious sandwiches made with their huge bagels. Or they may just want a bagel with nothing more than butter, which one might consider a meal in itself. Once they get to know you a little and learn where you live, don't be too surprised if Vladimir drives his Lexus SUV right up to your door some day during the winter, on a day when you just want to stay inside where it's warm, and delivers a bag full of the types of bagels he knows you like, and says, "Don't worry about paying anything this week. We'll settle up next time." He's a guy who -- quite literally -- enjoys going the extra mile to take care of his customers.
