Me and the family visited Lake Placid for 3 days and we came to Soulshine Bagel for breakfast everyday! Delicious food, fast service, and friendly staff. My favorite sandwich was the Barkeater with apple, ham, chedder cheese, and apple butter. Pictured here is the ham, egg, and cheese on an asiago bagel.

I had a veggie egg cheese spinach bagel. It was yummy. They sell a variety of option to make your bagel. Quick and fast. They have a 3% conscience fee for card payments. They seem not to change gloves often.

Was very pleasantly surprised to find NYC quality bagels in Lake Placid and even more surprised at the NYC quality service, fast and efficient!! Keep up the great work!!

Blown away by how amazing these bagels were! Perfectly made. Adorable shop. Lovely people working there. Would 100% recommend if you're in the area for breakfast!

Stumbled upon the place randomly and it turned out to be the best breakfast place in the town.
Their varieties are great and people are hard working during rush hours.
However, some comfort and dining experience would’ve been nice since the place is a hallway type and don’t have much seating areas. Other than that y’all are just great! 👍🏽

Good bagels, I think they used egg beaters instead of real eggs. My order was ready in 2 minutes, and the eggs were fluffy. The blond lady was extremely rude, I asked for Taylor ham eggs and cheese, and she freaked out and told me I must be from NJ, we don't do that hear and wouldn't let me finish my order. If I wasn't in a rush, I would have walked out and gave her a piece of my mind.

Ironic name for a place that isn't very joyful, lol. As some other people have mentioned, the bagels here are delicious, and the selections of spreads are vast. However, the staff (at the time we visited anyway) wasn't friendly at all. Visibly irritated and rush you in and out. Granted, we did stop in on the weekend; however, it made it difficult to ask any questions/get into the experience.

The store is also very tight inside, which isn't a reflection of this review, just an FYI for wondering what the inside looks like. Long hallway style, so if you're claustrophobic or worried about being in close quarters during COVID, this is probably not the place for you.

Nonetheless, the bagels were delicious, and I would stop by perhaps on a less busy day to grab a couple of these bagels! My favorite was the Asiago Cheese. :)

The bagels here are so yummy!! My kids got Asiago with plain cream cheese and I got the everything with veggie cream cheese. We went back four days in a row because they were so tasty!

We loved this place, picked up breakfast all three days we were in town, and a couple of bagels to carry up Mt Marcy for our hike! They make for a great snack to pack away (even when enjoyed in the rain on the mountain...).

Bagels are a good size, just the right amount of fluffy and chewy. Everything had the personal touch, including the home cooked eggs for the sandwiches. Service was speedy considering how busy it was even on a Sunday morning when you couldn’t get a table for brunch anywhere in town for under an hour-long wait.

To the reviewer commenting on the price, I would invite him to try the packaged bagels down the street for 30% more, then return to Soulshine to appreciate a homemade version at, what we thought, was a good price.
