On experience this place is a 5. Although cold, there was outdoor seating which gets sun in the morning. The shop is great and the ceramic selection is beautiful.

The espresso drinks are good. The sandwich was delicious (egg and cheese with pesto). I would recommend asking to go light on the pesto. The taste overpowers the sandwich when you are eating but also your mask will take the smell if you put it on right after finishing.

Friendly staff, Great coffee and great spot for a bite. Bakeries looked amazing but didn’t try

Best secret cafe in Kingston! Secluded a block off of Broadway, this is the amazing cafe that Kingston locals keep to themselves! Try the simple white coffee with a pastry, or try out a breakfast or lunch. Adventurous? Try the vegimite toast...

Quaint hipster coffee shop with nice rewards program (buy 7, next drink is free). The wait time can be excessive, especially mid morning and on weekends; not exactly a grab-and-go type of place. They also serve food including breakfast options and pastries. I recommend ordering ahead and you'll be happy with your order.

Excellent service and fresh products. The plates are well prepared and tasted fresh. Tried the frittata of the day and the quinoa bowl and I'd recommend both. There's no seating inside but a cozy patio, I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. Pricey compared with the offers around but we'll worth it.

Food was good! The shop itself is very cute. I only give this a 4-star because I’m dairy free and asked for coconut yogurt. However, they gave me regular yogurt. The cashier didn’t input my order correctly.

One of our favorite breakfast places. Great scones and brekke bowels. Great coffee. Vegan and vegetarian options too.

Over-priced and under-seasoned.

I really wanted to like Village Coffee. I've tried them several times now, and while it isn't terrible, I would call it consistently mediocre. All the pastries taste like bread and nothing else. I don't think they use any kind of spices or even salt in their food; ever single thing I've ordered was missing a vague something that would have made it tasty.

Drinks are all expensive and tiny. Even plain loose leaf tea.

The last straw was the turnover I ordered today that was soggy and missing most of its crust. Sorry, but can't recommend it all.

Great coffee and the brekkie sandwich is amazing! The pesto in the sandwich was especially delicious.

The outdoor chairs this time of year were pretty cold, but that's a really minor nit to pick

Ordered a Cortado, a pumpkin spice Latte and a chocolate flan Donut. Taste was awesome like sitting in a small café in Spain. PSL was not as sweet as usual mixtures and freshly made, so it had an excellent flavour. My donut was fresh, not dry at all and delicious as well.
Very sweet, creative and cosy shop with friendly and heartwarming service. Wished I could go there more often.
Thank you, you made my day!
