This place is wonderful! Great beers, great coffee and tea, amazing vibe. The folks who work here are great, and the book selection is fantastic.

Really fun: all babies and dogs, young folks, Brooklyn comes to Kingston

A couple of the best lattes we’ve had in a long time

Books good coffee good vibes good but scone was inedible. Tasted like powder and dough anywhere past the outside. For 4.50$ per small scone it’s not acceptable.

Cozy and beautiful they make the best coffee and always offer something new and inventive . Their service is impeccable . Amazing bookstore with a pub vibe . Love it here

Nothing “rough” about the experience at this special destination. Cool location at four corners in Kingston NY. Phenomenal book selection and the monthly coffee specials were the best I have ever had. I crossed over from January 2022 to February 2022 so was able to sample two different styles. The creative and meticulous blending by knowledgeable baristas made the experience something I will not forget and will seek out on every visit to this charming town. In contrast, a visit at to a nearby coffee shop delivered the opposite experience so Rough Draft is THE choice in Kingston IMO.

My absolute favorite coffee in Kingston!!! also such great vibe, the entire staff is so lovely. Always makes my day when i stop by…. and i love to sit outside in the shade on the other side of the street. they have so many tables that you’ll always get a spot. 💜

Bustling and brimming with the significant ability to balance books and things to drink while reading, this was by far my favorite stop in our trip through the Catskills. For perspective, I have had the same travel coffee mug since 2006 and bought a new one from here since I adored the idea, and space so much. Creatively and intelligently designed space that proves that social distancing is still not an entirely devastating blow to comfort; innovative coffee and spirit directives integrated with knowledgeable staff. I have deep affinity for corners of book stores to hide from life in whatever I am reading, and I could see myself loosing sight of all else here: quickly becoming a ghost haunting for millennia and still not being sick of the space.

Beautiful historic building and good coffee/ snacks. I like the tables outside, it'd be cool if they put a roof over them for the rainy months, though.
