I Like this place where we have almost every day coffee. The only thing I do not like is lately after 6pm instead of hot coffee they are giving us almost a cold one and when we ask to get hot coffee they put the same cup in microwave. Hope the owner can read this review and instruct guys who work after 5pm. To be more precise today nov 17 and yesterday nov 16 back to back same story…..

my chai tea latte was way too hot, and the lemonade lychee wasn't as sour as I expected it to be

What a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Gigi, Mike, and Gary are fantastic. The rest of the staff is incredibly helpful, too. A wide variety of fresh desserts brought in every day from Martha's Country Bakery in FH. Decent breakfast sandwiches. The coffee (choice of light or dark roast) is great. Excellent tea selection, too.

After I got my stuff. The pastry to me was just gross, the place looks like a hipster threw up in it. The coffee tasted burnt and the manager was treating the workers so unprofessional. Like it seems to be one of the worst working environments these people could be working at. This place seriously sucks and needs to change. Only reason why I walked in was because I was in a rush and needed coffee. Sadly I regret even stepping foot in there. Never go to this place you’ll be very disappointed. Skip it and go to Starbucks or heck Dunkin’ Donuts. Those coffee places taste better than this one.

It's a great place and friendly staff but the coffee isn't the best. The flat white was a milkshake. Still a great environment to work.

If I could give them no stars, I would. The cheese cake tasted like cardboard and the coffee watered down. I ordered a chicken mozzarella sandwich and soup. The chicken was the size of my palm, put into the sandwich with an overly huge bun and cut in half. The sandwich was supposed to have sun-dried tomatoes but only had half of one slice. It was mostly made of lettuce and a little mozzarella. The soup was stone cold. When I complained, the cashier angrily told the staff loudly what I thought of the food. She also said that that the chicken was the portion that her boss was giving. Not her fault. Take it or leave it. If they really didn't want repeat business in the middle of a pandemic when most restaurants are starving to death, they can have it.

tl/dr - the equipment is good but nobody knows how to use it, so the coffee isn't

The shop has the decor of a quality shop but lacks the actual skill. I was here once back in February and had a pourover that tasted like water. Was in the area again and decided to give this place another chance.
Well, nothing changed in almost half a year. When I asked if the pourover will be stronger this time I received a reply that the barista didn't have a pourover at home so she wouldn't know. Seriously? You work in a coffee shop, you should know how your coffee tastes. Then someone who looked to be a manager informed me that if I want it to be strong I should get the medium instead of the large (small isn't even an option) because it's the same amount of coffee but less water. Come on guys, if you are offering pourover as an option at least spend 10 minutes on google learning the correct proportions.
Anyway, I decided to try it again and it tasted like brown water again. I went back and asked them to remake it but into a small cup. They were kind enough to oblige and this time it tasted like it should. I don't know why they don't offer small as an option and why they don't scale the coffee proportions with size, but until they do ask for a small.
Oh, and their cappuccino was scalding hot - another sign that they have no idea how to make coffee.

Love this coffee and tea shop! It's local and a great healthy alternative to franchises you can find on street corners. They offer a variety of teas and coffees and even have personal canisters available for purchase. Don't hesitate to stop by! There's comfortable seating including high stools in the front of the shop, a comfy couch in the back by the register, and tables. Additionally, they offer free wifi to customers. It's the perfect place to bring a laptop and catch up on work or read a book while you sip fresh tea or coffee. I love the atmosphere of this place as well.

A marvellous place for a relaxing coffee and pastry, just round the corner from the apartment, where we're staying. We had organic decaffeinated lattes and very fresh and interesting cheese danishes, which were delicious. The staff are friendly and courteous. I highly recommend a visit.
