Food was fresh and made to order. The young and energetic staff was on top of everything. They explain the menu and also explain that their prices were slightly increased to make sure everybody that work there got a fair wage. We were very happy with the service we received and the food was excellent

I worked here as a waitress for a year, and I cannot recommend it enough, both as an employee AND as a customer. The food is great, the people are great, the atmosphere? Shocker: also great. I am an Ithaca native, and I can promise you that you will not find better breakfast, for a better price, literally anywhere else in town. If you want to get a delicious meal and give your money to deeply good people, this is the spot. Trust me. <3

Wonderful gluten free options. This place is a little hidden away in Dewitt Mall. The surroundings are clean, but basic. As soon as you put a bit of chutney in your mouth, every else fades away and you forget where you even are. The taste explosions are quite unique. I had the Farmers breakfast with chicken sausage, eggs over medium and chutney instead of toast. Everything was cooked perfectly, hot, and fresh. The service was amazing, and they were patient with all my questions. I definitely recommend you try this spot if you get a chance! My husband had the pancakes with bananas, potatoes, and sausage, and loved it as well. Important, this is a cash or check only place!!

I was here with my girlfriend on breakfast, when we were traveling through Ithaca, and we had a great time in this restaurant. The breakfast was delicious, served quickly and the price was reasonable. Their staff is professional, polite and the menu has a great selection of different and interesting meals. The location of the restaurant is nice and very unique. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!

The food here is great. The morning glory sandwich is my absolute favorite breakfast sandwich anywhere. But the last 2 times Ive gone the service has been poor. While not very busy either time we ended up waiting nearly an hour for our food the first time and OVER an hour the second time. We also had to rush to eat our breakfasts once they were finally served because we were going to miss our next engagement. Doesnt matter how good the food is if the service is that bad it makes for a negative dining experience.

Breakfast burrito was amazing! Good service. So, 5 stars. The location is kinda unexciting. It's in a little make shift mall area. So, great food. Not spectacular ambiance.

We must have arrived at the right time. No wait, fast service and the waiter was very efficient and courteous. The food was wonderful. Yummy, unique, very fresh and presented well. The only knock (and not that big of a deal considering the area) was the price of our breakfast was a bit over the top (about $15/per person).

I have loved Cafe de Witt for so many years! The food is fantastic--fresh and delicious. They make one of the best burgers ever. And the service is first rate. Brunch is always a delight!

I eat here about once a week. I love the wait staff, and have never had a meal I dislike. They have big fish tanks all around one side of the cafe which somehow makes up for the fact that there are no windows. I never feel closed in, and since the mall hallway runs through it, it is a great place to see and be seen.

The "Apple Sausage and Potato Hash" was fantastic!! Can't wait to return for more. Great food with good service. Don't expect the huge plates heaping with food you find at diners, but if you want excellent food with local ingredients this is the place to go. Superb spot for a light brunch.
