Great little cafe love the weird little stores in the hall. Had breakfast here, the latte ☕ was very good and the Morning Glory sandwich was delicious very generous amount of bacon 🥓. The GF had the french toast she claims it was God tier. A very lovely place will be back.

A few months ago I stumbled across this place while shopping and if I hadn’t had a meal just before I would have stopped. I got the chance to come back a week later and since then my brother and I have made it a ritual to come by monthly because it is so good. We live out of town so it is very much worth our commute. The staff is all so friendly and the menu is always full of delicious specials, breakfast, and lunch items. The hardest part is picking what you want to eat since everything is DELICIOUS. I am such a huge fan of this place and it is such a gem to be here in Ithaca. They also have an incredible fish tank along their booth seating that adds to the ambiance. Very happy to have found this place. I have only stopped by for breakfast so far, I’d love to try their lunch menu as it also sounds delectable. Thank you, Cafe Dewitt!!!

Overpriced food in a run down location. We went there and we were about to walk away but based on reviews decided to give it a chance.
The furniture and floors are worn down…and not very clean.
The foos was very overpriced for the value, taste and location. Side order $5 one chicken sausage…$13 for a small omelet with a few pieces of toast.
Service….the waitress forgot to bring us one of the drinks and food took over 30 min.
I wouldn’t recommend this place or go back there.

This is a beautiful breakfast and lunch spot. Greeted and seated quickly and courteously, the food is always delicious! I haven't had a dish I didn't like. Fun to take some friends or go solo. All staff are very friendly, fun to watch the kitchen hard at work too.

Brought my brother in for breakfast. Menu and specials selection made me regret having only the one stomach. Regardless, the biscuits and gravy had all the satisfaction of eating two meals at once, but none of the psychic damage. Feel like if I took a nap right now, I'd awake from a mothlike metamorphosis as something better and more beautiful. 10/10
Also, my brother said his sandwich was good.

Staff wouldn't believe me when I told them their water tasted like mold. Water filter definitely needs a change. The special I got was pretty tiny for $14 but I might just be basing my prices on those of a couple years ago.

Had a delicious brunch with friends on a Sunday morning. Staff was fantastic and attentive. Food was excellent and fast. We had a group six and everything was spot on! I ordered the pecan waffle special. This waffle was wonderful...made with browned butter, topped with chantilly cream, toasted pecans, and drizzled with maple syrup! Yummy! Featured in the photos are items that our table ordered: Waffle Special, Eggs Benedict, and the Omelet Special. Will definitely return! What a gem. FYI - cash or check only.

Tried this place out for breakfast with my little sister from BBBS. We like to try places we have never been.
The wait for two wasn’t long to be seated. There was a steady flow of people waiting to get tables. Once seated we were handed menus and waited for a bit to get a server. We ordered drinks (OJ /tea($3.60/$3.00) and I had to ask for water which others had. So the menu didn't have a-lot of items together. We ordered the french toast ($15.60) added side egg($3.60)and sausage($6),biscuits and gravy($14.60)which included the egg(but it wasn’t two biscuits as I was told initially by waiter) and cherry danish ($6)to go. Placed our order about 10 mins after being seated. Waited about 20-25 for actual food. Once we had the food no one came to check back if everything was ok and did we need togo containers. I stopped an employee to ask about a container and how or where do we pay?
It was a bit confusing whether a bill will come to table or do we pay at counter.
Again we were new and hadn't dined there before today.
I am glad the space was filled in with the restaurant to support the Dewitt mall, but $64.00 for breakfast including tax and tips, is a lot. It would have been a little better if at least one side was included with the French toast for the cost.
Also the food for me was ok.

I live right nearby and love their service and locally-sourced food. Food is good, selection nothing too amazing, but just really solid. Free coffee refills are a plus! It's no wonder there's always a huge line during weekends. Staff are friendly, though service is not very fast. Plan for a little extra time to finish up a meal here.

This place is AMAZING! Aside from the fact that you most probably have to wait for a long time during weekends, it's perfect. The atmosphere is pleasant; crowdy yet cozy. The staffs are very friendly and polite. And of course, the food--- It's so tasty! As expected of a local restaurant working hard to use local products as much as they can. The cranberry sauce I had that day was the most delicious one I have ever had, really! Also, the price is reasonable. I spent 21 USD for the omelette, hot chocolate, and tip. It was absolutely worth it. Money well-spent. This is a kind of restaurant that is capable of warming your heart and makes you want to revisit until you become a regular customer.
