I want to give it 3.5 stars.
I’m vegan and got the spinach artichoke panini and a cappuccino.
My boyfriend got a ham panini I believe and a coffee.
We waited a long time for the barista to come behind the counter to take our order. We also waited a very long time for her to bring it out to us and there was only one other couple in there at the time. My sandwich was very good and warm/hot but it seemed like my boyfriends had been made and sat out as he said it was on the colder side at that point. He said the coffee was okay and my “vanilla cappuccino” tasted more like a bitter coffee, I didn’t finish it.
The prices are kinda so so but I would be back for another spinach artichoke panini and I want to try the raspberry cream cheese panini

One of the best coffee places in town , not watery, tastes really good and the vibe in there is so nice and comfortable. Definitely got a loyal customer.

A little gem in Greece, employees are always very nice, a wide variety of of vegan/etc options. Super cute atmosphere, you get to support a local business and watch the stagnant drive thru at Starbucks while you sip a great coffee!

Great service, clean, with reasonably priced and a good viriaty of food and drink. The chocolate brownies are decadent. They cater to food allergies You can get a Whole Pound of coffee, ground or bean, for great price, and the choices!! The deck is great to relax on with friends weather permit. Inside is bright, spacious, comfortable and a great place to visit too. You will be glad you stopped.

New roots is a new discovery for me. Rochester city does not lack gluten free restaurants- but there are only a few coffee shops that aren't located in the city that offers gluten free options. New roots is very great because it accommodates those who are gluten free. (Big win!) It is pretty small and quant so there aren’t big work spaces for studying- but it is a great atmosphere and would recommend trying it out!

The coffee was good and reasonably priced. They could add some whole grain products (bagels, English muffins). Atmosphere is sweet and cozy. Both indoor and outdoor seating available.

Amazing little shop! They have baked goods from local bakeries, and locally roasted coffee! The vibe is positive, funky, and comfortable as heck! Highly recommend it over the garish Starbucks that has popped up next to it.

Great coffee, service was wonderful, and their whole roasted beans were delicious.

Fantastic!!! My drink was amazing, the batista was very nice, and everything was clean. If you're looking for somewhere to sit and relax or study, New Roots is perfect. They post all of their allergen information and offer a wide selection of drinks, and some pastries as well.
