Four Five Coffee in Garden City, NY is fantastic! The coffee and pastries are amazing. Highly recommend!

The first time we went to for five was a nice experience. The coffee was overpriced and the chai latte was very mediocre. But the ambiance was nice and relaxing. The second time we were expecting the same, but we were not willing to pay for a nasty chai so we just got one coffee and a cinnamon bun. My friend and I were relaxing and drinking our coffee this rude manager came over to us and said we cant drink another coffee from a different place. He mentioned that we need to buy something from them. We explained to him we bought from this place and even got food. We bought a coffee again and were eating their food, there was no reason he should have said anything to us. He rudely took away the coffee and walked away. I should be able to sit and not be singled out when others were doing the same thing. No where on the door does it say no outside food. All the money that we paid and a manager is walking up to us be extremely rude. They have a nice atmosphere but not sure if we will be going back to be disrespected.

Gossip in Astoria brought me here. One of the best coffees ive ever had. The Birria grilled cheese with consome is amaze! Kudos For Five

For five is my favorite place to study. I owe my good grades to their hot chocolate. The aesthetic is clean but also inspires creativity. I rate it 1 star short of 5 because the food is so expensive. But somehow, that doesn’t seem to stop other people from buying it.

Really nice spacious coffee spot it was to cold to be outside lucky there was plenty of space inside coffee was great I would have liked it a bit warmer staff was friendly and pastry was tasty 😋

The best cafe experience around. Try the grilled chicken sandwich and the French toast. Cold brew is a personal favorite. The Greek pastries are of special interest. Highly recommended

Nothing special. The french toast was okay but not worth $19.95. The flat white coffee wasn't good either.

It's overpriced, but it's ok as people pay. Food is not good, I ordered eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, got a very thick brioche (not good quality) with tomato, smoked salmon, a lot of watercress on it and cold eggs, when you break your eggs, its run on watercress and it's not what I want, you can put a salad on the side. Anyway I was not able to finish my meal, cause it was not good. My husband ordered Chicken Ceasar Salad, chicken was very dry and not chewable. Almond croissant is 7 $, I asked to warm it and girl said I need to go to kitchen for that, not the answer you would like to hear. Place reminds me of a library or some cafeteria of office people who works on laptops. It's a lot more places around long island when your bill for grab and eat will not cost 70$ with much better food and attitude. I will not come back.

The tuna bowl they have was sooooooo amazing. Love this spot for studying / a coffee date with a friend!

Went to this location for the first time vs the Manhasset location. I have to say it was an embarrassment, upon walking in they had NOTHING, on display as far as pastries go. They had 2 muffins and a bread, that was it. Unlike the Manhasset location, this location had barley anything to offer, the prices are ridiculously high, for 2 muffins and a bread it was $24. I understand there is an inflation but pastries should not cost this much.
