Essex Ice Cream Cafe

Pastries tasted like they were a few days old. Dry and tasteless, especially the muffins. Coffee tasted bitter as well. I suspect they made a few hours prior. Expensive too!!

As other reviews have said, super disrespectful and bitter woman working the counter, yelling at people, would not recommend to anyone. bad food. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

The woman who served me my ice cream was rude. I’m so confused. Ice cream is supposed to be happy?

Delicious fresh baked goods, great espresso drinks, good ice cream cones and lots of local goods offered. Friendly service. Worth visiting.

If I could give 0 reviews I would. Women behind the counter was very mean and nasty, will never give someone like that our business.

The lady that works there is extremely ignorant and rude! Don't support this business, there is another coffee shop right next to it that's much better!!!!!!

They have a decent selection of hard ice cream. They usually also have food options. The staff have always been friendly.

The owner is inpatient, disrespectful, and aggravated constantly. She will ruin your day. Do not come here.

Horrible customer service for a small town shop! Wanted ice cream at 9:05 and I guess they close at 9 and told me to get lost! Ferry goers beware! No small town customer service here.
