Jive continues to shine as a great breakfast/lunch spot. It's a tiny place and the food can sometimes take a bit to come out (especially when they are overrun with the Dreams Park families heading to game). If you time it right you'll do just fine. It's worth the wait however. I always make it part of my routine when visiting the area.

Coming to Cooperstown? Staying a for breakfast dont stop at McDonald's. Stop by the jive located behind the McDonalds. Breakfast sandwiches or sit down and have full breakfast. Coffee lattes hot or cold which I would suggest the bacon egg and cheese on a roll with an iced caramel latte to wash it down and a side of home fries. I used to go there everyday when I worked down the street. CONSISTANT QUALITY then stop by for lunch FRENCH DIP is awsome from what I hear and I get the hot ham and cheese on a roll every day for a year awsome food for the price.call ahead for quick and fast service.jimmy and his team are awsome

This is my second time here. The first time was by accident. This time we came straight here before checking into our hotel. Both visits the food was outstanding. The chicken salad melt and the chicken pesto wrap are excellent.

Great coffee, quaint place. Got to watch the regulars have their order handed to them as they walked in. No phone ahead. Loyal customers.

The food was good and one of the few coffee places decent in Cooperstown. Would recommend for breakfast or lunch. The pancakes were amazing, especially with the NYS maple syrup. The egg sandwiches were good as well.

This place is PHENOMENAL! They have great coffee! Sandwiches tasted great. Quick service and attentive staff. Would highly recommend this place.

Absolute blatant disrespect and robbery. Always liked them before I asked why they changed me a dollar more for my sandwich than the price shown on order board. Was tho it was summer prices, they just hadn't changed prices on the board. Is this because of tourist season they feel they decide to gouge? Is it not enough that their business increases by numbers?

By FAR the best breakfast spot in the area. The Reuben Egg & Cheese is AMAZING. Pancakes are also exceptional (and served with real maple syrup). Highly recommend!

Loved the atmosphere, the food, the service and the beautiful plants. Music was soothing and relaxing! We will definitely come back!

Jive Cafe is a delightful spot in The Commons Plaza Rt 28. Surrounded by chain eateries, you will be pleasantly surprised by the Jive menu and options.
Step up to the counter and place your order, I selected the French Dip ($8.50): house roasted beef, New York state extra sharp cheddar on a ciabatta roll - served with fresh au jus for dipping.
My companion chose the Reuben sandwich ($8.50): CHOICE of (1) meat: [corned beef / turkey] & sauerkraut, Swiss & Russian dressing on rye.

The time from order to food coming out was approximately 10 minutes, fast enough for our allotted lunch time.

Both sandwiches were very good, with ample amounts of meat. The dishes also include chips and a pickle. There are a variety of drinks and some deserts.

There is seating available with a mix of tables and counter areas.

The decor could use some updating but it is pleasant.

Overall, I would definitely recommend The Jive Cafe.
