I had a great meal, French Onion soup and the Grilled Chicken BLT. I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat. Great staff and always asking if you need anything.

We stopped by the Doubleday Cafe while in Cooperstown visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame. We told my daughter look up places to eat. She said this one has good reviews and is close by. The food was delicious my son had the hamburger and my daughter and I had the avocado turkey BLT. It was delicious and affordable. We highly recommend.

The food was surprisingly good. The cafe used shell pasta for the macaroni salad, which is a novel. The place was busy, but wer were seated quickly. The staff was friendly and courteous. We look forward to returning in the autumn.

We met friends for lunch as Cooperstown is midway between us. We were greeted and seated quickly. The baseball theme was appropriate but not overwhelming, I even noticed several black and white photos of people, I assumed to be locals and regulars at the Doubleday Cafe. It gave it a nice inviting feel.

Our food arrived quickly. I had the french onion soup and Pulled Pork Sandwich. The soup was classically prepared and served in a stoneware crock. In a word, delicious, just what you imagine when you think of French onion soup. The Pulled pork sandwich was equally tasty, they didn't skimp on the pork, it was piled high and really good. The French fries were also fantastic, perfectly cooked.

All of our meals were delicious. The service was friendly and unpressured. All in all a great experience. A perfect spot for lunch when visiting Cooperstown!

We stopped in for dinner the last night of our stay in Cooperstown. The place was pretty busy when we arrived, but we were seated without a wait. Our server, even though she was up to her ears in tables, was attentive and the service was quick! The food was excellent. My junior burger critic gave his a 9 out of 10, my wife and I split apps, all good! My only (minor) quibble was a shortage of cheese with the nachos appetizer. Will revisit this place for sure next time we are in town!

Delicious fresh food and friendly efficient service. Best place we ate in in Cooperstown (April 2023). So good that we had breakfast lunch and dinner here on different days. All of the meals were delightful. The drinks were also delicious - coconut rum bay breeze especially good. Check out the turkey avocado BLT with honey chipotle aioli with a side salad dressed in the house-made maple shallot vinaigrette. Highly recommend.

Great people and food. Service is friendly and fast and the breakfast is best in town. A very chill and comfort vibe, full of locals and visitors alike. Great beers on tap too.

Great meal and service! We planned to have breakfast but got there a few minutes to late. Lunch menu was great and we all left stuffed!

French Onion Soup was fantastic. Bacon Bleu burger was great, but the chicken Quesadilla was a bit bland, and the Mexican Rice was dry. Service and atmosphere 10/10.
