First time visiting this coffee shop, and we were pleased with the locations and the coffee and cookies on offer. Will go here again for coffee when in New York

I ran in here for a drink while visiting DUMBO one evening, and I was enamored by the iced lavender Earl Grey seasonal latte! The espresso was good enough, but the quality of the subtly sweet craft syrup was amazing! The cooler has a variety of bottled beverage options, but indoor seating is relatively limited considering the busy neighborhood. The baristas were helpful and personable. The shared spaces could have been cleaner and the napkin dispenser was empty, but overall I was pleasantly surprised by my spontaneous visit to this Joe location!

This coffee is fantastic, I had a cappuccino with oat milk, which had a great taste. The coffee itself had a rich flavor and was not sour.

I usually love Joe Coffee. My office uses Joe Coffee and has a coffee stand inside. However, at this store near where I live, there are some frustrations happened. I don’t know it’s just for me, or for everyone. One time I purchased a big bag of coffee together with some small bags (total cost nearly $200). The cashier questioned me several times why I buy it, who am I purchasing for, do I live nearby, and do I have my own related business, which makes me not comfortable. This time, when I ordered a flat white, they asked me how much milk I want, I said 1/3 milk is good. They literally only gave me a cup only 1/3 filled with coffee. When I questioned them why only gave me such an amount. They said that that’s why they asked me how much milk. The two person kept stressing that different parts of the worlds are different, and expressing that I’m taking another part of the world not New York. As someone lived and worked in New York for 5 years, and drinking Joe Coffee nearly every day, it’s frustrating to be treated differently. Upon my request, they filled it up. But the gentleman wasn’t too happy. I stood there after getting my coffee and observed many customers, and I didn’t see a second person with my issue (or maybe they didn’t order flat white). As a store near the tourism place, I sincerely hope the store service and communication quality can keep pace with other stores in the city. Again, I love the coffee quality at this store, it’s just how I had been treated makes me wondering is it a common practice here?

Good Coffee, good vibes and they take care of the tourists that need a sip of water or the bathroom without making a fuss about clients only. More places need to be like this. For sure this brings a lot of foot traffic and business.

I came back here 3 times because the coffee is just amazing. The pastries are great too. There’s a great little one in Greenwich Village I visited and a bigger one in DUMBO - both were really chilled and nice place to stop.

I had an Americano. Terrible. No taste, too hot.

I am so happy with our visit to this coffee shop! Their regular latte is delicious, as well as their vanilla latte. Some places I go to never make it right, but Joe Coffee does! There’s a little wait in the morning, but the staff does a good job of keeping up with everyone, and I thought they were nice, which is always appreciated. Definitely recommend people try this place!

convenient coffee spot close to our office so we come here fairly often. They have some solid pastry options too if you’re in a pinch for a snack. I wish they offered straws for their takeaway iced coffee though, as the plastic lids have come loose on me a few times and stained my clothes unfortunately.
