Usually a great place. I would come here with my mother as a childhood memory. Disappointing to have an untoasted panini and be given the wrong drink to be told with attitude by our waiter "I asked what you wanted" with the largest smile and the most condescending tone imaginable. Our server was Linda, and she managed to completely ruin a fond childhood memory of mine. Well done, Ballston Spa!

Edit - The food is still average, but the wait now is terrible. They changed the menu and clearly they can't keep up with orders. Sitting outside waiting for a pickup order and being told ten more minutes a couple times in a row is not acceptable.

Original review - It's decent food but a little pricey for what it is. Good selection of tea and tea accessories.

Quaint and lots of charm! I loved the many vegetarian options and interesting "tea of the day" choices. If you order noon tea (can be ordered any time of day) they bring out a 3-tier tray with your three choices- one sweet and two savory. Everything I had was delicious! The scones are amazing and come with really tasty preserves and cream as a dipping sauce.

Oh my goodness, I went back here with my littles and they even had a Jr. Afternoon Tea!! It was amazing, and my kids felt so special to have their own set up. Coffee was HOT, Tea was outstanding.

One of the great snowflake comfort places. Not everyone I take there likes it. The servers don't want to deal with you if you're hard to please and you can tell, so I would go with a high maintenance friend. Very good gluten-free sandwiches. Upgrading from chips to a cup of soup costs more than I think it should but their soup is amazing. The tea selection is the best I've seen.

Cozy setting in a lovely town. Lobster soup and panini are good. Nice place for an afternoon tea and relax.

We go to the Uk every year and over the last 20 years enjoy visiting various afternoon tea locations throughout the country and this is one of our best experiences. The menu is varied but the tea and assorted scones, crepes, preserves,Devonshire cream are wonderful. Great find!!!

really awesome tea selection. i got a savory crepe and my bf got a sandwich. the crepe was fantastic but the sammy was underwhelming. the lavender lemonade although a good flavor concept was way too sweet for my liking! stick to ordering hot tea and crepes!
