Passion Pie Cafe

This was my first visit to T or C. I stopped by Passion Pie Cafe on my way out of town intending to grab a drink before getting on the road. Holy moly I was wrong to think it was going to be a quick trip. The display case was packed with a large variety of sweet and savory treats. The chalk menu's were filled with other food they can make. I ended up ordering a slice of Green Chile, Corn, and Feta Quiche and a hot tea to eat in the cafe and 2 treats to eat during my drive. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is decorated in fantastic local art. The food was amazing. My only regret was I found this place on the last day of my visit. Passion Pie Cafe is worth a visit even if you are just driving through town.

On the upside, the fresh tuna croissant was very good and refreshing. We also had a stuffed cheese and spinach croissant which was great. Downside we had the peach pie, which was the pie of the day, and I thought it was terrible. All crust/dough, had to dig to find the peaches and they had a funny taste themselves. So that was disappointing as pie is in the name of the restaurant. Still giving a 4 because everything else was good and staff was very nice.

This is definitely our favorite food stop in T or C. We have sat in the tiny dining room once to have a full breakfast, but it is just too cramped. Thus, we greatly prefer to stop in for the exciting assortment of fresh pastries and take them for the road. To date, we have been impressed by the quality and flavor of every single pastry we have tried.

This visit included a Peppermint Patty Mocha, in which the peppermint was too subtle for Raz to detect, though I enjoyed it greatly.

One day, when the success of this amazing cafe allows it to expand the dining room, I aim to try the Fat Elvis. Until that time I will just savor our regularly acquired road snacks in the form of tarts, muffins, and cupcakes of the highest quality.

Searched for a place to eat in TorC today and this little gem popped up - what a delightful find! Super friendly staff, and a surprisingly large, varied selection on their menu, for such a tiny restaurant. All fresh ingredients, made from scratch. We had green chili mac & cheese with salad which was to die for, and decided to take 3 different soups home for dinner, as they all sounded delicious. Also had pie for dessert, half of which came home, and great cappuccino. Will definitely be back while we are in the area :)

Not a bad little joint in this small town. I had an iced hazelnut soy latte and it was one of the best I've had. My husband and I also had different croissant sandwiches and they were pretty good. Will be going again for breakfast.

The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. At the first glance the menu looks expensive but everything is home made and cooked/baked right there in house. I think its 100% worth the money and I'll go back every chance I get. The curry soup is life!

Wonderful food and huge selection of gluten free baked goods. The only place I have ever been to that actually substituted the croissant for a gluten free option with the eggs and meat breakfast. Great service and nice folks!

Clean, clean, good food, and good service. Order at the counter from a large variety of coffee's and pastries. They are all good and a few vegan choices. The best is lunch. Great salads plus . It is a small place and sometimes hard to find a seat. Worth the wait or take it to go.

The best waffle I’ve ever had! TorC is not generally known for good coffee, but Passion Pie nailed the breve latte.

Wonderful fresh-baked goods and breakfast items made from scratch. New items every day.. Great coffee, too. Try the caramel machiato shot! Yum!
