A small easy-to-drive-past hole-in-the-wall coffee shop/cafe that's definitely worth the visit. Besides all of the delicious coffee choices that you'd expect, this tiny Cafe has an excellent choice of breakfast and lunch options, many of them vegetarian if that's your thing. Waffles are their specialty, but the freshly baked sweet goods, coconut pumpkin curry soup, and protein shakes are fantastic!

We just stopped in for coffee. As we sat and enjoyed our delicious coffee, we noticed menu boards and a large selection of beautiful pastries. I saw several lunches served and an anxiously looking forward to going back for lunch and dessert with my coffee. We're in town all winter and I have a feeling we may become regulars here. I'm sure my rating will be a solid five stars once I have sampled some menu items and pastries, all of which looked and smelled great as they were picked up and brought to tables by the dinners. See you soon!

Very good croissants, but food seemed very overpriced and service was less than friendly. Had a simple order with one request, no nuts. Food came with nuts on it, and when it was returned they made it clear they did not want to remake the food. They asked multiple times if I was allergic, and asked if I had mentioned it when I ordered. Yes to both. They finally remade it, and then re-served my original meal to a family that came up after me. My meal was almost inedible. The waffles were mushy, soaked in honey, and the whole thing was a mess. My mom ordered the veggie croissant and it was alright, but not great. Almost $25 for the two sandwiches and one tea. The cook tells everyone that comes in exactly how long they have to order until the kitchen closes, down to the minute. I would not recommend it, there are better and friendlier restaurants in town.

This is pretty much the ONLY place in TorC to get good coffee. Their freshly baked pastries and savory croissants are the best! This is also the only place in town where you can get an amazing delicious cup of home made soup and quiche. They always have a variety of different quiches, soups, and pies. Their Hungarian Mushroom soup is out of this world! Their breakfast croissants are excellent as well. The menu is unique. The food is made with love. They have great vegetarian options and teas to choose from. The decor and atmosphere is really cute and it's just a cozy spot to sit and drink coffee, meet with friends, or get some work done. The service is always great and the staff is friendly and will take care of you. Closed on Wednesdays and they close fairly early. Parking isn't great as it's located on the main one way street. Usually you have to park on a side street and walk over. One of my favorites in town!

The gentleman at the front was not very helpful. Also came off as pretty rude.. Was excited to try one of the options on the menu but they ran out of bananas, and the woman in the back was way more helpful and gave us a different, but still good option. Overall the food was pretty good, but could have been a better experience.

We stopped in our way through Truth or Consequences in need of caffeine. Had some great coffee and the shop offers a unique menu. They have some pretty amazing baked treats on display. I didn't get to try them but the coffee cake and waffles looked pretty stunning. Has a good community vibe and really friendly staff. Highly recommend stopping in for a pep up!

The coconut pumpkin curry soup was amazing! The coffee was perfect. The staff went out of there way to discuss the artists work that adorned the walls and the gluten free options that were available. These folks are truly engaged with customers dietary concerns offering vegan and gluten free options! A great place in an interesting and artistic town .

Short trip into torc for my birthday and came across this cafe. Had breakfast here twice and it was phenomenal both times! Amazing food and coffee. Service was great and everyone was friendly! Definitely recommend!

The Staff was great. Loved the location.. But who the heck puts bacon inside a waffle???? They need to note that on their menu for the "Breakfast Waffle".. Not everyone likes bacon.. and most especially not inside their waffle. I didn't even eat it. I was expecting a plain normal "breakfast waffle" which I thought was the safest thing to order on their menu.. NOPE!

I really can't believe we haven't tried this lovely little place before!! This is my new favorite place to eat. The pastries are not only decadent but all the menu items are made from scratch with the best ingredients. We bought so many to take home!! From the caramel apple bread pudding (made with croissants) to the cranberry orange muffins and peach dumplings....we could not fault I anything Ms. Karen made...we also had the Waffle Sandwich..generous pieces of bacon cooked right into the flaky buttery waffle....top that with the perfectly cooked egg and maple syrup...OMG to die for.....Shannon the adorable barista made us the best iced Chai we had ever had.... .the menu is eclectic from Hummus platter to leek and chicken pot pie....and don't forget those pastries...from tarts to magic. Bars....many that are gluten free!!.you will certainly find this to be one of your new favorites.
