We were going to the place on the other side of the street for a coffee as they were highly recommended but they were closing and asked us to come back. We ended up at Chokola and have absolutely no regret. The place is awesome. From service to products it is definitely great. We had two trios. The owner was super flexible to accommodate our wishes. We tested the mousses (lemon ginger, dulce de leche, dark chocolate) the gluten free hazelnut cake, a florentin and a salted caramel bonbon assorted with cappuccino and expresso. Everything was delicious. You can feel the passion of the team for chocolate and client satisfaction. The place was busy but service was quick and not rushed. A must to visit in Taos for a delicious treat and coffee.

Abosolutely in love with this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and all of the chocolate treats were amazing. The tasting trio is the way to go, you can sample 3 different types of sweets for only $9! I highly recommend the dulce de leche mousse as well as everything else on the menu

This is hands down the best chocolate we have ever had. We have traveled the world and tasted different chocolates from all over and this is the best. We usually shy away from sipping chocolate because it’s so heavy, but absolutely try it here, it’s, for lack of better exclamation, freaking amazing.

We got a box of truffles to take home. Everyone else had mousse, which they enjoyed. I had sipping chocolate, which was good when they finally remembered my order and I got the right item.

Wonderful drinking chocolate (a more dense, rich version of hot chocolate). I also tried the chocolate mousse which was great. Besides chocolate they also had several flourless cakes that I didn't try yet.

Great service and great chocolate!! Sampled the mousse and ordered the tasty trio. I got a white chocolate truffle, the Ecuador sipping chocolate, and vanilla ice cream with cacao nibs. Definitely highly recommend!!

A tiny but popular chocolate WonkaLand. Award-winning chocolate and more ways to enjoy it than your credit limit will allow.

Absolutely fantastic! Delicious chocolate where you can really taste the differences and with great execution. Staff was friendly and helpful! Great on a nice cool day.

Awful experience today. The young lady who greeted us when we came in was extremely nice and helpful and very friendly. Unfortunately the young man who helped us pick out chocolates for my sister was rude , dismissive and condescending. My son thought he might’ve been high, but we weren’t sure. At one point we thought about just leaving, but my son knew how important it was to send this to my sister for Thanksgiving. I had seen online that there was a special if you bought $25 you got free shipping and I asked the young man about this, he said he had no idea what I was talking about and if that was online it had nothing to do with him. unfortunately, I thought that the shop offered shipping and I did ask him how it would be sent … He told me he had no idea he didn’t know I was gonna to ship it. I am in my 70s and I have liked this store for quite some time we usually bring our friends that are visiting from out of town to the store to enjoy the chocolate, however from here on out I will not step foot in that store as I was treated very poorly!

First time here and I LOVE IT! They make their chocolate from scratch and import the raw beans to do so! Their French Sipping Chocolate is amazing! Beautiful atmosphere, they were playing some French music while we were there. Wonderful staff in a great little location down the ally. Next time I'm in Taos I will be back!!
