Delightful. Delicious. Luxuriously silky. Words can't sufficiently capture just how rich and yummy Chokola's mousse and drinking chocolate are. We tried the Madagascar and White Chocolate mousse which were both absolutely enjoyable. Texture and sweetness were perfect.

The drinking chocolate was the perfect consistency and mouthfeel too. This is a MUST when visiting Taos. We definitely enjoyed our stop at Chokola and will be back in the future.

This has always been one of my favorite spots since I’ve moved to Taos but recently we had the best encounter. We had our young basset with us and were greeted with smiling faces and kindness all around. I decided to try the vegan olive oil cake per recommendation of the staff (potentially the owner, not sure) 2 kinds of mousse and a chocolate bar. Everything was outstanding. We liked the chocolate bar so much we went back for a second one a few days later. Upon arrival the staff recognized us, and even remembered our dogs name and asked how he, and the other bassets were doing. The service here is really above and beyond. What drew me to Chokola was the sustainability and ethics behind the business. The amazing treats and fantastic staff keep us coming back. It’s a great place to bring friends who visit. If it’s cold out I highly recommend the sipping chocolate. My husband prefers the mousse no matter the season.

Exceptional chocolates and baked goods. We had the vegan chocolate olive oil cake and it was amazing. Next time I will try a drinking chocolate. The staff is also very kind and the selection is well-curated. Definitely stop here for a treat when visiting the plaza.

Stopped in on our way through Toas. Appreciated that the oat milk base is gluten free 👌🏻 Shared the Aztec, Lavendar, and New Mexico Spicy drinking chocolates — favorites were the Aztec and New Mexico Spicy. Also had the Dulce de Leche mousse which was phenomenal.

My wife and I received a recommendation from someone we met in Santa Fe to visit Chokola when we went to Taos. It is on a side street, so you might miss it. We tried three sipping chocolates, and it was the best chocolate we have ever had. We could taste the quality of the chocolate with each sip. We also tried the different flavors of chocolate mousse, and they were excellent as well. If you love chocolate like we do, I would highly recommend stopping at their shop.

What a beautiful little shop!!! What a wonderful gift to Chocolate lovers!!! Each bar is a small batch and individually labeled and hand wrapped in a golden wrapper🤩 Not only is the chocolate the BEST, it's a local shop that produces worlds best chocolate bars!!! Also try the Aztec Hot Chocolate!! I've been to Jacques Torres in NYC but this Aztec Hot Chocolate was less thicker but a lot more enjoyable🤩🤩🤩 Loved the Place! Came from Austin Texas, I'm so glad to be in a place that takes Covid precautions seriously, the whole town!🙌

The smell was what brought me in. It was quite interesting and it took some minutes to make sense of the menu system but I ordered the espresso, iced latte and chocolate ice cream. Nothing disappointed - even on a winters day, the ice cream was delightful — almost Iike an ice cold mousse. The espresso was excellent and served in two cups as I requested for just the one price! And the latte was called the best ever by my dear friend. Just a extremely pleasurable experience.

Wow, that was the best ice coffee I ever had. Allegro espresso in a cappuccino cup and delicious vanilla ice cream on top. The drink was Incredibly dense in flavor and aroma. The hot chocolate shots were drinkable chocolate truffles. It really seems that they are trying for the Guiness book of records for highest flavor density.

Even if you walk in and buy nothing, this place is worth the visit. It smells like chocolate heaven. If you've ever dreamed of bathing in chocolate, this is where you need to be. But I dare you not to buy any - the salespeople will totally give you a sample to taste if you ask, and after that, you'll be hooked. We got their $8 chocolate flight, with two mousses and a bon bon. The lemon ginger mousse was unforgettably unique and delicious. I also bought a bar of bean-to-bar Cholola dark chocolate, and milk chocolate bar (with star anise and carmelized lavender!) by a Belgian chocolatier that I could take home with me to make my vacation last a little longer.
