It’s super cute delicious place to stop by and have a bite and the owners of the café are so helpful and an interesting we even got to meet their dogs. The food is great. We had the souvlaki lamb and chicken as well as the soup of the day salads, fries, and another dish. The waitress was helpful and cool. She was smiling all the time and everybody was having a great time. If you want to change from the Mexican food, this restaurant is the place to be. There is also a cute shop right next to the restaurant that you can visit was waiting for your food.

The Lamb Shank was so good that we went back a 2nd time before we left. Live music was great too. It's between 1 to 4pm on certain days of the week. Can't recall exactly what days. There were two parking spots right next to it, but it was usually taken. Patio is dog friendly.

Caffe Greco is charming, casual restaurant near the foot of Canyon Road (and one of only reasonable priced places to eat left on a street that features highly-rated cuisine and fine art galleries). Caffe Greco has excellent Greek food and some standard New Mexican fare. Restaurant seating is available indoors or outdoors on a cozy patio under the blue Santa Fe sky. -- Be sure to stop by Jewel Mark, the owners' other shop next door with lovely jewelry and stylish apparel items.

I had the chicken gyro with a side salad. We met the owner’s sweet dogs and even got serenaded by the owner himself! Fun lunch while taking a break from enjoying all the local artists’ talents.

Four of us had lunch there. We had 2 lamb shank at $29 each and stuffed Bell peppers at $20. We also had salad and drinks. These are photos of a lamb shank and peppers and the menu.

In early December, my wife and I had a wonderful breakfast here following an overnight snowfall. We settled at a table in front of the fireplace and enjoyed a crackling fire and hot coffee while waiting for our food to arrive. Our meals were pretty much standard breakfast fare with a southwest twist, and approached home-cooked quality. All in all, coupled with the friendly service and other-worldly ambiance (see photos), it was a wonderful experience. We'll be back!

If you're looking for really good NM Food than you have to try this place. Off of Canyon Road, this is our new favorite place to eat in Santa Fe. The owner, a native New Yorker was very engaging and welcoming to all of his guests. He also had a cool little store connected to the restaurant. So if you're on Canyon Road or just in Santa Fe, you have to stop and try out their food.

A hidden gem in the Canyon Rd art district. Super cute and unique decor. Chili cheeseburger, fries, and green chili stew were excellent!

GGF; Great Greek Food. We had the Gyro and ate on the Pinon-shaded patio and enjoyed the Sante Fe scenery all around us. The owners are amiable and interesting.

Stopped by Caffe Greco on Canyon road on Wednesday to enjoy an outdoor meal on one the city different's most visited roads. Caffe Greco as I've always remembered it, has offered New Mexican and general American fan fare food. When I arrived last week, I was welcomed to seat myself anywhere I liked. I opted for the outdoor patio. Mainly because the live acoustic music that the Caffe often features outdoors is both relaxing and enhances the atmosphere.
Once I was handed my menu I scanned through it and eventually decided on the beef chalupas. The overall menu offerings are a little pricy. Which is common place for most downtown restaurants in Santa Fe (most items are between 12 and 15 dollars). The beef chalupas are no exception, but are one of the more economic choices available on the menu.
When they arrived I was initially taken back by the portion size. Though I do not frequent the caffe regularly. I could swear that the portion size of this particular dish was once larger. Although delicious and up to the New Mexican standard you would expect from a restaurant on west canyon road. I would not recommend ordering if in looking to truly quell your hunger. In fact, they could almost serve as a moderately sized appetizer.
Despite this, Caffe Greco continues to serve as a well established locally owned Santa Fe restaurant. Yes, menu items are a little expensive and some dishes could stand to increase their portion size(s). However, the restaurant is not worth knocking down and I indeed plan on visiting again in the future. Plus, they always offer hot chocolate to walkers on the Christmas eve farolito walk and that certainly has to count as some kind of bonus.
