I have never been treated so rudely while simply ordering coffee. The guy making my order was condescending, arrogant, unaccommodating, and ultimately completely out of line. A simple request of "would you make my coffee extra hot" was met with "no". When I replied "excise me"...he stated "no". "No, I will not steam the product beyond temperature." I realize this is a "Mom and Pop shop" and not Starbucks... but a little common courtesy and service goes a long way. Being a small business owner myself, I always try to show my support when I can to local shops. My experience with STEAM Coffee Co this morning was not a pleasant one, to say the least. The coffee itself was decent, cold within 5 minutes.

As avid coffee drinkers, my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of their coffee and breakfast, but also with the friendliness of their staff. They were welcoming, kind, and we could see their passion for their business. I highly suggest getting their “Mother of All Biscuits” for breakfast.

They have amazing coffee but they are always finding a reason to close early. It's very frustrating when their hours are until 6:00 and you travel from Santa Fe to get their coffee only to find out that they have closed at 11:30. This has happened on many occasions and is why they get three stars instead of five!

My family and I visited Red River this weekend.. we were ready to support some local businesses however this business seriously disappointed us! When we got there my friend was fixing her mask as the guy tells her very rudely put on your mask! Which we understood but we would have appreciated if it were said nicer... we proceed to order and he says what do you want we were calm and ordered we gave him a discount card which we were very happy to have to be treated as locals and he says “it’s nothing special just 10%” very rudely again later my brother order and he asked for a little bit of ice on his drink and he said “ I can only give so much little ice” we tried to understand him and still be polite so we paid and as we were leaving We realized this guy uses his finger to remove what’s left of the coffee grounds From the portafilter and the puts it like that on the machine and starts the shot all of this without gloves and while handling money and credit cards whaat??? On top of that I asked for a simple iced latte with vanilla and had to throw away the entire thing.. please change your coffee or change your attitude so at least it’s worth the Purchase!

Coffee was good! It was nice because there is currently no indoor dinning allowed in Red River so we were able to sit at the picnic tables outside, drink our coffee, eat a cake pop and watch people ski the face.
