LOVE Steam Coffee! I'm a bit picky when it comes to coffee and they are so good across the board - especially their creative latte flavors. And they are always so sweet when I bring my dog in. Staff is friendly, and the location and decor can't be beat. I drive up from Taos to stop in!

The coffee, the food, the people. It doesn’t get any better. We LOVE coming to Red River and Steam is an absolute must! If you want amazing coffee, great merch, and to see people that are super sweet and will treat you like family, please go!!!

Awesome little shop. The feel of the place is just fun and exciting. The coffee was good, but not the best white mocha I've had. Wasn't very hot either which was odd. The brisket breakfast burrito wasn't great. We tried both the red and green sauce but neither was good, cheese and a little seasoning would go a long way. I'd like to try a warmer day and get something cold to try again.

We stopped in on 08/05/2022 to see what this coffee shop was all about. I ordered my standard summer drink of an iced vanilla latte with only half the flavoring (2 pumps of vanilla vs 4 pumps) and was very disappointed. If you actually like the taste of coffee I cannot recommend this place for an espresso drink. It tasted like iced milk with a fruity taste. We visited the other coffee shop in town and I would recommend taking your business there based on taste. In addition to the other reviews the person taking our order was less than friendly.

Love this coffee spot! I looked forward to my coffee every morning while we were visiting! Delicious drinks, cozy atmosphere, friendly and fast service. Cant wait to return!

We go here every time we get to sneak away to Red River, it’s located so perfectly in town. I typically only ever get a hot drink & it’s always been made perfectly. The baristas always get it right!

My family and I have been coming here for multiple years now, and have had fairly good experiences thus far. Hip space, small seating area. Probably 4-5 stars on average, with a few drinks here and there that were lacking.

This week we went twice and I don't believe we will be back. I've been to hundreds of coffee shops and I've never been treated as poorly as I was this week. Drinks were made poorly. Baristas extremely unwelcoming, and rude, and openly swore in front of us even with children in the area. The second time we went this week we hoped it was a one-off but it was even worse. Half of us simply left in disgust.

It's hard to find workers right now, the baristas were by themselves, and there were lines. So I completely understand the stress. I have been there personally. But the owner/manager needs to coach the workers on how to keep their emotions in check. You will continue to lose customers with service like this. I hope they maybe spend more time in their shop making sure the customer experience is truly welcoming. Because it most certainly was not. Maybe we will try this shop in the future but odds are we will be going to Barely Awake down the street. More space, friendly faces, and better prices for better coffee.

A must stop while visiting Red River! Such a fun atmosphere with a menu full of great options. I'd be embarrassed to admit the number of visits while on even just weekend trips.
