Cute little coffee shop in Madrid, NM. It's hot outside so it's a cute place to stop and refresh yourself. I'm all about little local places and this place really embraces it. 5/5, 10/10, great coffee.

We went in with a group of friends- we all absolutely loved it! The coffee was great and so were the baked treats! If you are in Madrid, definitely stop in for great atmosphere and deliciousness!

A great place to see the colorful souls of Madrid as they saunter thru to get their day started. You might run into the local breakfast club at their morning haunt. Great coffee and even better people watching.

Coffee is ordinary but the coffee maker was the rudest most unpleasant person in any hospitality job we have ever encountered. Have been travelling across US fro six months and this person stands out. Note to her: customers should be treated pleasantly and with a tiny bit of respect. You suck at your job, go find something else to do.

BEST BLACK FORREST LATTE EVER!
The cherry actually stands out and doesn’t taste burnt!
Spicy Boarder Mocha- HIGHLY recommend for anyone who loves a little kick to their mochas!

A friend and I took a day trip to Madrid from Albuquerque on Jan 5th and it was rainy and cold and this was the perfect spot to warm up with a nice drink. I got the Mexican mocha (on their seasonal drink menu) and it was one of the best mochas I have ever had. Truthfully, I liked it so much that I have been trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Don't let the menue scare you because it says it has chili, it is not spicy at all, especially if you are not from NM and worried about spicy food. It has a real depth and layer of flavor that I truly was not expecting. I would completely recommend that drink especially. The shop itself is cute and small and has a lot of other things (like pastries and they serve food as well) but I cannot comment on those things. I would really recommend going, especially if you get to Madrid and there is a chill in the air and you want something warm to drink

Coffee was delicious and the breakfast burritos were super tasty. the B& B was very cozy and comfortable and Nancy was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this place and this town.

We stopped in Madrid while in Albuquerque for balloon festival. While there, we stopped here for a vanilla latte and some kids’ hot chocolates. The latte was delicious and the service was friendly.

As we walked in the door slipping our masks up, we were greeted by an angy women yelling to put our masks on. My confusion came a few moments later as a man without a mask walked in the door. He was not even asked to put a mask on. Personally I agree with him, that masks do not work, but out of respect for the business owner I was putting mine on. My question is why are women screamed at for no mask, and men are not even asked to wear them? Do men not carry covid? The drinks were luke warm, and overly sweet. I found the nearest trash can and disposed of it. I won't be be back.

I found Java junction to be as un inviting as the rest of the town, it's like the locals are truly burned on visitors. The barista got mad at me for asking what the Italian Roast might be or where it might be from. I give it three stars because as a roaster and coffee shop owner myself I can say the coffee was good and the place was cute and clean enough.
