I love finding a good hole in the wall place to eat. We were looking for authentic Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. The serving sizes are substantial, and the food was good. The service was friendly and welcoming. Don’t miss this place on your way through Gallup.

We haven't been at Rt 66 Railway for sometimes.
But going back there was reminiscent of our prior visits.
Food is fairly priced. Very good Mexican dishes. And most of the atmosphere is very pleaseant.
Highly recommend stopping by on your trips.

I had dinner here, kinda dry, a little too much pepper on the country fried steak. Hamburger steak a bit crispy. Had biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash. Most delicious. Biscuit was not the flaky kind but smooth and spongelike fluffiness. Cute names for dishes.

OMG... It was so nice to finally eat here again after about a year. Food was delicious and well proportioned. Service was excellent. Amanda kept our drinks full, and never forgot about us even though it was busy. I'm definitely going to become a regular again. 😎👍

The BNSF burrito is the best. I also like the open face chili burgers and the biscuits and gravy combo. Breakfast is served all day.

The food at the Route 66 Railway Cafe is nothing short of excellent. From the
burgers to the salads, the dishes were executes perfectly. Combined with top notch service, our next lunch stop in Gallup will definitely be at the Route 66 Railway Cafe.

We were looking for a place to eat, but everywhere we went was packed or it was take out only.. I want to sit down and eat.. this place is the place you want to go if you want a good home cook meal and with the staff being nice.. it made our day even better.. thanks to the staff for all they do..

Really amazing! We stopped here on the way back from a long road-trip and the food was on point! I’m not sure what exactly the style is but the breakfast burrito with chorizo had just the right amount of spice.

Service was fast and friendly as well, especially during these trying times. Would go back if I’m on the area!
