Route 66 Railway Cafe

We stopped on our return trip from LA. Definitely worth the stop off the interstate. Excellent food, great people, and budget friendly!

Overall very pleasing experience. I am an eggatarian and like enchiladas and their green and red chilli enchiladas with boiled and scrambled egg and diced fried potatoes is just awesome. Kids meal as well they have some nice options. My son liked the fries and chicken strips. Decor and staff are courteous and serve you well but once they goofed-up with my order when served the soup first way before the other part of the menu and on asking said it's complementary. We ordered this dish for the first time hence wasn't sure what all it comes with and the other half was really dry to eat in itself. May be the server that day was just in little hurry.

We will sure to dine again here whenever passing by.

They serve breakfast all day which was nice to meet someone for brunch there.

Small, dive like restaurant, but that was the charm! Service was amazing!! We just ate breakfast there but everything we got was good! Though cold cereal was on the menu, they were out. But our daughter loved the scrambled eggs and pancake. We both had omelettes. 😋 Place was pretty busy on a Thursday morning at 10am. If you want to get away from chain restaurants, I recommend this place!

Locally owned, New Mexican style food big portions and biiig cups. Great food and great service. 👍

Stopped by recently with my wife on our way to Las Vegas. So glad we picked this place to eat. One of the best burritos I've had in my life. Sure hit the spot. I'll remember if we make the trip again.
