Great little coffee shop. Bright inside. Coffee is good. Didn’t get a pastry but they looked delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Only complaint is the space and wait time, but that was likely my fault for coming early on a Sunday lol. I've been in the coffee business for years and between Cutbow and Zendo ABQ has a killer coffee culture. I was very impressed with the Gomossita as it was like an affogatto with a completely new mouthfeel! Absolutely inspired to make my own marshmallows at home in Ama to try and replicate that experience! The atmosphere and knowledge of the baristas working was also very good! The person at the front counter was very knowledgeable about their roasts and made a great recommendation of their beans for me to take home! Very pleasantly surprised by the medium roast their espresso seems to have as well, something you don't seem to find at many other shops.
I do wish they had some Geisha beans on hand like I saw on their website lol. Would have Absolutely bought a bag or two because they seemed very qualified to roast them properly!
High recommend if you want quality espresso beverages with an atmosphere I unlike any other!
(PS the ad-copy on the bag of beans I got is phenomenal)

This place is awesome. From every thought out detail in the decor, to the excellent customer service, to the fantastically brewed and smooth, deep flavor of the coffee! The husband wife team who owns it are so friendly and clearly proud of their work. The inside is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The counter staff baristas are friendly, patient, and helpful. This will be an absolute must stop whenever I visit Albuquerque!

I don’t live in Albuquerque, but I let friends and strangers alike know about the magic of Cutbow if I hear they’re passing through ABQ.
For the discerning coffee enthusiast, Cutbow is exactly what you’re looking for. They’re a coffee roaster with a strong, thematic, and memorable brand. They have an amazing interior space that pays tribute to how wonderful and varied coffees from different regions and roasts can be while ALSO honoring a breadth of fishing lore that introduces itself very obviously but can only be appreciated at depth with careful and focused curiosity around the shop. It’s a masterful and well executed take on an immersive coffee experience and easily surpasses the enormous majority of players in the space. The sourcing and roasts on the coffees are artisan level. The barista recipes range from tried and true to “I’ve never had that before.” It is all truly, truly great.
For the fishing enthusiast who also grabs a cup of joe on occasion, Cutbow is exactly what you didn’t know you needed. Even if you set all that coffee mumbo jumbo aside, take a look around! Everything in the place is an ode to regional fishing. Lures, flies, rods, reels, trout of every variety. Even a trip to either bathroom will reward you with something to learn about fishing. (By the way, the Cutbow Trout from which the coffee shop likely gets its name is featured or depicted in several places if you keep an eye out.) Fishing! Coffee! Perfection!
For the enthusiastic lover of delicious coffee drinks (and tea!), Cutbow is the pot of coffee gold at the end of your coffee Rainbow Trout. Whether you want to taste coffee in your drink or you’d rather that coffee be there but kinda play a secondary role to delicious syrups—I’ve got news for you. Cutbow will give you what you need! And they make their own damn syrups IN HOUSE (I know!). There are delicious pastries too! Diet schmiet!
Folks. There are surely some other coffee joints to love in Albuquerque. But if you can only make one stop, trust me—this is the place. Come and take it all in. Leave your phone in your pocket while you wait for your drink to arrive and use the time to get curious. Ask the master roaster, Paul, about coffee or Cutbows. Every question and curiosity is welcome, I promise. Shop for art, smell the coffee varieties, bask in the vibe. There is no way you’ll regret it. Unless you’re reading this and have still never stopped by. In that case, may the regret and fear of missing out haunt you like that fish that got away. 😜

I don’t say this lightly, this is the best coffee i’ve ever had. In person I go for an espresso with vanilla or a quad latte with canela and macadamia milk. I lived in albuquerque for 18 years and never heard a thing but on a trip back home after leaving i’ve found it and it’s a must go whenever i’m in town. I love the shop itself and the owner is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. I order my beans online from the bay and use them every morning. Highly recommended.

Amazing coffee!! They are one of the few roasters I've found that roast Papua New Guinea coffee, which is one of my favorites. They know their coffee and work hard to get you the best coffee flavors. At a lot of shops, the syrups used overpower the coffee, but not at Cutbow! Absolutely one of my favorite shop in the Abq area!!!!

An absolute gem of a place.
Great macchiato! On point and traditional
Chocolate croissant from Ihatov was delicious
Bundt cake was delicious also not made there
Marshmallows were top notch! (HOMEMADE!!! and finally found in ABQ)
Great customer service and the nicest people.
Homemade syrups is unheard of and I am so glad they make homemade syrups.
Bought some whole beans to try them at home.

Came here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it! It’s very spacious and beautifully designed -the whole quirky vibe that you would expect from a coffee shop/roastery (they roast their beans in House!) I had a simple pour over coffee and really enjoyed it! I loved it so much that I bought a bag of beans while I was there (which I’m currently drinking ...frenchpress style ❤️) but I really liked it here. The staff was pretty friendly and there’s lots of parking available! If you haven’t checked this place out, do it!

This was some good coffee plus the shop was cool. This is what a great coffee shop is all about killer espresso and killer coffee. Lots of different choice single origin coffees. Roasted on site. This place is a must if you like good coffee.
