Ocean Cafe

Omelettes (I had Italian)~ pretty good; little skimpy on my homefrires, but they were tasty & crunchy like I like them. Waffles were good & bro-in-law's pancakes looked like a huge mound! Overall, we all enjoyed what we ordered.

Waiter was good! Food was good! Got the check and noticed a $14.95 charge for salads???? We didn't ask for them I thought they came with the meal!! Feel cheated and will never go back because of it!

Didn't like that they forced me to buy bottled water. What kind of place doesn't serve tap water? Our waiter was pushy when we were ordering and didn't check in on us at all. Another server brought out our food. I had the penne with pesto, which actually wasn't that bad (the only reason why I put 2 stars instead of just one). We had to ask another server to find ours so we could get our check. It's a loud, chaotic place with very poor service. I will never come back. I do not recommend eating here!

Unfortunately this was a bad experience and waste of money. Nothing about our lunch was good except the waiter. I do not recommend this place.

The management here is absolutely horrible. You will be nickel and dimed for everything. Not only were we almost forced to by bottled water because they refused us tap water until we pressed the issue but portion sizes were quite small for the price and the chicken was of low quality at that. When our issues were brought up with our waiter no one from management ever came out to give us as little as an apology. Certainly not worth coming back or even trying in the first place.

We weren't planning on going here for dinner, but walked by and thought we would give it a try. The menu that was posted outside looked pretty good. It was the only place that we are in Ocean City that we didn't check out the reviews first. The food was ok, but overpriced. I was really annoyed that the kids meal came with a soda and not milk so we got charged for two milks. Our apps and dinner came out at the same time so that was super annoying. Finally you can't tip with a credit card. Won't go back here.

I unfortunately cannot give the Ocean Cafe more then one star. The food was good, but there were non stop flies in the restaurant. These flies were all over my food. Other tables complained and the owner was called, but did nothing. The owner over the phone said that they can't close the doors or the store will look closed! Ridiculous! The owner was "tied up" and did not make an appearance. The only thing offered was free dessert, which we declined. I didn't want any more flies in my food. The food here is not worth the price. My husband got a panini (blt) and only ate half of it. My order came out wrong the first time and I should have stuck with that because what came out next was really sub-par...the most watered-down version of alfredo I've ever seen.

The waitress was really nice, too bad she's working there.

Food ok.$$$ 14 dollars for bagel with bacon egg and cheese. Pricey.. waitress nice. Its the shore so there is that....

All the food was very good, the server was very friendly and great with our kids. We had the Vodka sauce and Alla Panna which both were good, but the Alla Panna was exceptionally good. I will definitely return next time we are on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
