Came with a table of 6 and all got paninis. My wifes sandwich wasnt made correctly and our friends sandwich didnt come out at all. They obviously didnt make it, by mistake, Im sure.
The sandwiches just were not good. Very little ingredients between 2 pieces of bread a handfull of fries and a pickle for $16.
Server was really nice and so was the rest of the staff.

I cannot believe that this restaurant actually has some good reviews for breakfast. It honestly makes me think it is the owner or employee who are writing them. There is just no way these good reviews are legit, I'll never believe it.

First, we tried to order coffee and was told we cannot order coffee until we order our food. Huh? Still don't understand why but by reading the reviews, it seems it's their thing.. IMO coffee should be served asap when eating breakfast at a cafe, when you are a paying customer .. what is the sense of making someone wait til they order?

Then comes the breakfast.. I have never had such a horrible breakfast like I did here. I ordered 2 eggs with home fries and a side of bacon. Absolutely disgusting, the bacon tasted like it was cooked in grease that sat for weeks (not days, weeks).. the home fries were.. I don't know what they were.. definitely not home fries, both my father and I took a bite and spit it back out into a napkin. The eggs had such a funky aftertaste to them. Not one person in our group ate (besides first taste attempts) their meal. When clearing our table, the plates looked untouched, every piece of food left, and they didn't even ask why!

While we were waiting for our check and other family were arriving, I actually felt so bad knowing they were about to spend their money on what I consider the worst breakfast I have ever had in my 36 years. I wanted to warn them, but decided not to.

With all that being said about the breakfast, we actually had dinner here the night before, which we were pretty happy about. The dinner was much much better than the breakfast (which was the reason we chose it for breakfast the next morning).

So while I complain on and on about the breakfast, I have to say the dinner was good.

I hope the owner reads these reviews and takes them seriously to better the quality of the food. Since the dinner was good, the potential for breakfast to be good is there.. baffling.. also they need to change their policy about only being able to order drinks when ordering food (what sense does that make).

Do not waste your money at this restaurant! Extremely overpriced! They advertise as “fine dining” but this is cafeteria food at its worst. I took my group of 6 adults and 3 children for dinner to this place and I should have known what to expect as when we were being seated, I asked to use the restroom and was told they didn’t have one but to go two blocks down to the Music Pier! We were given menus and less than 3-4 minutes later were asked if we were ready to order. We asked for drinks first but were told we had to place drinks and entree orders at the same time…weird. Most entrees were priced in the $15-$25 range and higher. I thought these were really high prices given the decor of the place. We had a hungry group so we placed orders…the salads were served in disposable paper bowls and entrees on plastic plates. Unbelievable, given that this was supposed to be fine dining!
The food was terrible, slop on a plate. Definitely not worth the $240 bill! To top it off, tips had to be paid in cash. Never again!

Imagine what a Sysco food truck rejects put on a plate, barely cooked costing you 28 bucks. The garlic bread is an offense to every Italian Nona. Shady business practices include but not limited to: can’t order drinks until you order food so you don’t leave when you realize how expensive it it, bathrooms not open at all against health code, credit cards only for bill not for tip so the owner can rip off the staff without records. The woman running around like a crazy person is the owner. This place is disgrace to ocean city with its shady business practices. It only survives on tourist ignorance.

Never ate at this restaurant before so I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Honestly...I was not impressed. The dinners were over priced for the quality and portions of the meals. Over $100 for 3 dinners. The ravioli was bland and not very good at all. The drinks were served in small plastic cups and no refills were given. Our waitress was not the nicest and seemed annoyed with the manager.

Despite being one of the few boardwalk establishments with actual adults working there, this cafe operates from a standpoint of “the customer is never right”, which never works. Also, the food is meh and they don’t serve any form of free water.

Our eggplant parmigiana was tasty. Charging $3.50 for a bottle of no-name purified drinking water when we asked for tap water was highway robbery.

Two days before big weekend...Memorial day . They were not very busy. There were 2 dead flies on our table. They put maybe 5 homefries on plate. We were told no glasses of water were available, but we could buy a bottle. Went to go to restroom before we left.....sorry it does not tou can go ti music center

I have concerns about an unannounced $3 charge for a bottle of water, and varying levels of chef-prepared or potentially 'out of a jar' food served. Web presence is not updated with prices and lunch availability during dinner hours - based on what was told to us and what the menu shows at the cafe. We wanted to be out of the sun, but were told the indoor seating was 'hot.' Think the cafe wanted people to be seen eating there. Umbrellas were moved for us to help with shade. A dietary request was either ignored, information that it could not be honored was not provided, or the waitperson forgot who made the special order. Generally people cleaned their plates, and a nice basket of toasted garlic bread with parmesan cheese was provided. Great to soak up sauce with.

A small Greek salad with six shrimp was $20 and my 8 year old daughter got a kids spaghetti and meatballs without the meatballs and it was $11 😳, way overpriced. There were also pumpkin decorations on the tables the first week in August? It's really unfair to the servers that they only take cash tips, we didn't leave anywhere near what we would have which was a shame.
