Meh, food was ok but they charge the equivalent of olive garden with the service and quality food of a pizzeria, I always give places like these a try because small businesses should be supported and being a local I do just that. But don't offer specials like filet and give me an over cooked steak and some poor looking sides, peppercorn sauce looked like it came from a bottle and side salad was definitely thrown together by someone who was rushing every step of the way. I figured let me try their "special" usually you give it your all since it's a "special" dish. It was a complete failure, over a hundred dollars for 4 dishes...lol...2 stars because the place looks like it might have potential, I'd stay away and get a pizza down the boarwalk. Server was nice so I guess that's a plus

U mind as well flush money down the toilet instead of eating here, the food was terrible the first red flag should of been when our salads came in paper bowls. The second was when the restaurant bathroom was not even usable, by law illegal and the restaurant should not even be open without a functioning bathroom.
Food was terrible and everything was frozen reheated, microwaved and completely unable to chew, could not even cut the chicken or shrimp with a knife. Do not eat here

Much like everyone else here I was deceived with the $16 Grand slam breakfast. The food was not too bad but an incredible rip off. I think what really annoyed me the most was that I ordered two waters and received 2 bottles of water with glasses of ice. The bottles of water were $2.50 each! The other deceptive practice that I experienced was after my son ordered his omelette the waiter came back and said "I forgot to ask you what kind of meat you wanted?". To me that indicates breakfast meat is included. it most certainly was not! That was in additional $3.95! A lot of up selling here. Everywhere else on the boardwalk when you ask for water they give you a glass of water like 99.9% of other restaurants in United States! I was also privy to the owner yelling at the waiters. I can't imagine why any of these kids would want to work there. My waiter was an extremely nice kid and I feel very bad for him. Also watch out because they own Angelo's two a few doors down. Same scamming practices.

The service was terrible, but that wasn't the worst part. The chef was evidently running out of the sausage I ordered and instead of notifying me and offering an alternative, he tried to pass off a half portion as a whole by butterflying the link. I had the same dish a couple of days earlier, so I immediately recognized the scam they were trying to pull. I was directed to the owner, a rude, unpleasant harridan who did not even apologize for the hustle, but justified it on the grounds that they "were busy." I've eaten at the cafe for 20 years or so, under other ownership, but never again. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT. They deserve to go out of business. One star is far too high.

Went on a Saturday for breakfast. Food was good, service was disappointing. After ordering, a busboy brought the food, and the waitress didn't stop back till we were done eating. She didn't offer to get us more coffee, we had to ask. Then she brought the check, and we had to ask for a doggie container since we wife's plate was half full. She didn't offer one. She said she'd come back with one. Then we had to wait 12 minutes for her to take our credit card, and then still no container. Waited another 10 minutes, and then asked the host for one, and he flagged down our waitress to get it. We didn't get any apologies for the slow service, or a single smile the whole time. That would've gone a long way. Left a 10 percent tip and I thought that was being generous given the service. Sorry, but we eat out in Ocean City at least once a day when we're down, and almost without exception we get great service wherever we go, and we try lots of places. I work in a school cafeteria, so I know you sometimes are busy and short staffed. But like I said, an apology and a friendly attitude would've gone a long way.

Read the reviews then eat elsewhere. Unless you like eating on paper plates and using plastic forks and paper cups then being charge over $100 for breakfast. Cheese omelettes with no cheese. I’m serious no cheese. $10 kids fruit cup I mean really.
Staff was good so I tipped him well.

I'm not going to make this terribly elaborate or long I'll just list the key details.
1) our waiter was pretty good, he seemed like a nice enough guy, if a little bit shy. This review does not reflect our service.
2) the food we were served was cold.
3) they required tips in cash not card. I was told part of the reason for this is that they have no manager present in the evening. What kind of place doesn't have a manager to close down the restaurant? That screams of negligent management.
4) there was no music, why?
5) the bread was definitely stale
6) overall this place was punching way over its weight in decor, what looks like a nice little Italian bistro is more like a greasy spoon in an amusement park, screaming kids included

Although the food was delicious, this restaurant was definitely overpriced for what you got. $6 for a glass of iced coffee, $6 for small fries. $12 for just a sandwich with no side of fries or anything. Three of the five plates we had our food on were broken and have cracks/chips in them. The wall our table was next to was covered in dirt and scratches. They forgot one of our orders and brought it out late. Also, our waiter acted very odd, kept trying to make jokes and lingered at the table too long. It made our entire group very uncomfortable for the whole meal. Overall, I probably will not go back. Plenty of other places in the area with comparable quality food without being so pricey.

The food was average albeit a little expensive. Fries were a little mush, onion rings were pretty greasy, and the glass of sea water should be kept for facials. The experience was great though. Our waiter, Michael, was a little weird at first, but turned out to be very easygoing and humorous. I’ll be honest and say if he wasn’t there cracking jokes with me and my family it would’ve been a pretty boring experience. 3/5 with the bonus being the great waiter. Thanks Mikey!

Terrible customer service!! Owner/manager is very rude and lacks basic customer service skills. Our family placed orders for the “house special” and asked for no bacon and paid extra in advance to make sure food had no bacon and waitress comes back with bacon on our food. We send it back. They come back out 5 min later saying they re-did all of our orders (mind you it was 9 of us) in 5 min.. ? So we just ask for them to take back the food and wanted to leave. Owner comes out and starts yelling and accusing us of being wrong to reject their food and threatened to call the police. At that point we got up and left after words were exchanged loudly.. and still paid for our order!
